Many months of teaching and rehearsal, along with the planning and development of the concept of “Freddy’s Phone Factory” were undertaken. I thank all of the staff for their work in preparing for this event. I want to especially recognise Rob Cronin for coming up with the idea of the theme, for developing the script, teaching the students, coordinating additional support for choreography and set design, creating the movie that set the scene for the production and working with Therese in arranging transport to the venue. I have probably missed other actions that Rob took to make the concert such a success. The annual concert is an enormous undertaking and I cannot thank Rob enough for his efforts. I also thank Jacinta Reed for volunteering her time to choreograph the dances, Rita Friend and Ben Curnow for their assistance with the props and Liz Prossor and Ben for their backstage work. I thank all the staff who on the day kept the students safe and engaged at the concert. Finally, thank you to the families and friends who came along to witness the amazing achievements of our students. Parent feedback session postponed As only two parents are available to attend our feedback sessions tomorrow, we have decided to postpone the event to a future date, yet to be decided. School Council will discuss an alternative date when we meet next week. I will personally speak with those parents who had said they were available to attend the feedback sessions.
