UW – Platteville is a part of RM2N because:

• Materials Science and Engineering make up key components of the Chemistry and Engineering Physics Departments.

• Engineering Physics has a Materials concentration as well as a Microsystems and Nanomaterials Program

• Our recently established Materials Fabrication and Nanocharacterization Laboratory is a unique user facility for southwest Wisconsin region and is looking to expand its user and partner base from around the region.

• Faculty and staff at UW – Platteville are developing collaborative materials coursework that can be offered to students across the UW System
