BIOGRAPHY Dr. Nazimah Hussin is a Senior Lecturer at UTM AHIBS. She is the Director of Business Administration for postgraduate program - MBA, DBA and PhD. She has BSc in Finance from Arizona State University USA, MSc in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance from Loughborough University UK and PhD in Islamic Finance, Durham University UK. She is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK. She has presented papers at both local and international institutions including LSE, Durham University and University of Wales, Lampeter. She is also an ongoing reviewer of indexed journal articles. She writes articles in the field of banking, Islamic finance, financial instruments and financial behaviours. She has experience as panel reviewer for APEL MQA, new academic staff, staff and students’ awards, as well as auditor for academic programs. She has vast expereince in preparing and compiling documents for postgraduate program such as for SWA Accredition, Self Assessment Report for postgraduate program. She has prepared various working papers and conducted many program especially related to academic staff and system. She is also a member of ACCSB and has attended academic accreditation programs and workshops including by Finance Accreditation Agency and AACSB. She has been involved in marketing of academic programs and planning for future UTM in enVision 2025. She has both skills in managing people and academic program based conventional, offshore and franchais. She has attended program and trainings in commercialization and involved in the preparation of the documentations for the transnational program prior to its venture.
