SOLAF 2014BIOLOGIMODUL 2SOALAN 1 KERTAS 3An experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of different concentration of sucrose solution on potato discs. Satu eksperimen telah dijalankan untuk mengkaji kesan pelbagai kepekatan larutan sukrosa ke atas cakera kentang

The following steps were carried out.Langkah-langkah berikut telah dijalankan.

Step 1 : A cork borer was used to obtain 50 potato discs of uniformed size. Langkah 1: Penebuk gabus digunakan untuk mendapatkan 50 cakera kentang yang sama saiz.

Step 2 : The potato discs were divided into 5 groups, P,Q, R, S and T. Each group contains 10 potato discs which were placed in five different petri dishes.Langkah 2: Cakera kentang dibahagikan kepada lima kumpulan, P, Q, R, S dan T. Setiap kumpulan mengandungi 10 cakera kentang diletakkan dalam lima piring petri yang berbeza.

Step 3 : Distilled water and sucrose solution with different concentration was poured into each petri dish as shown in Table 1.Langkah 3: Air suling dan larutan sukrosa pelbagai kepekatan dimasukkan ke dalam piring petri seperti ditunjukkan dalam Jadual 1.

[3 marks]SOALAN 2 KERTAS 3 A semipermeable membrane is defined as a membrane that allows certain molecules to diffuse through it but does not allow the diffusion of other molecules. The diffusion of molecules through a semipermeable membrane depends on the size of the molecules.Membran separa telap didefinisikan sebagai membran yang membenarkan molekul tertentu meresap melaluinya tetapi tidak membenarkan peresapan molekul-molekul yang lain.
