DAY 2 Penang BMorning Georgetown Heritage Tour with visits to the reclining Buddha, Fort Cornwallis, Khoo Kongsi Clan House and Peranakan Mansion. Take a trishaw ride through the colourful & bustling Chinatown.

DAY 3 Penang b Cameron Highlands BDepart for Kuala Sepetang and visit the mangrove forest. Continue to the Royal town of Kuala Kangsar with visits to the gilded dome of Ubudiah Mosque, impressive Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenagan followed by Ipoh to visit Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple. Drive to Cameron Highlands and check in your hotel.Hotel: 4H Strawberry Park Resort or similar (1 night)

DAY 4 Cameron Highlands b Kuala Lumpur BThis morning, visit the green carpet of “BOH plantation” pioneer of tea growers in Malaysia and tour the local market before driving to Kuala Lumpur. En route visit the Lata Iskandar Waterfall and a native settlement.Hotel: 4H Pullman KLCC Hotel or similar (2 nights)

DAY 5 Kuala Lumpur BYour morning city tour highlights the famous Batu Caves Hindu Temple where a million Hindu devotees celebrate the Thaipusam Festival every year. Return to the city and visit Kuala Lumpur’s landmarks - National Monument, King Palace and the National Mosque, the Independence Square and the Petronas Twin Towers.

DAY 6 Kuala Lumpur ✈ Kuching BFly to Kuching. Afternoon city tour highlights include Cat Monument, City Hall, Tua Pek Kong Temple and the famed Sarawak Museum. Drive through the quaint Malay kampungs (villages), passing through the colourful India Street.Hotel: 5H Pullman Kuching Hotel or similar (3 nights)

DAY 7 Kuching B, LSpend the day exploring the oldest national park in Sarawak, the Bako National Park. The mangrove forest is home to the Proboscis Monkey, long tail Macaques, Silver Leaf Monkeys, Monitor Lizards and Bearded Pigs.

DAY 8 Kuching BDrive to the Semonggok Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, a sanctuary for semiwild Orang Utans who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surroundings of the forest reserves.

DAY 9 Kuching ✈ Kota Kinabalu BFly to Kota Kinabalu. Half-day city tour highlights various places of interest - the Sabah Foundation Building, Puh Toh Tze Buddhist Temple, State Museum, State Mosque, and a drive to Signal Hill Observatory for a great view of the city’s skyline.Hotel: 4H+ Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu or similar (3 nights)

DAY 10 Kota Kinabalu B, LDepart for Kinabalu National Park, a botanist’s paradise with over a thousand species of exotic plants, birds and insects. Take a guided nature walk and visit the Mountain Garden. After lunch, trek through the tropical rainforest on a Canopy walkway (1 hour) at Poring and if time permits, take a dip in the Hot Springs.

DAY 11 Kota Kinabalu P Sapi / Manukan Island P Kota Kinabalu B, LTake a boat to Pulau Sapi or Manukan for a day of relaxation on the beach, swimming or snorkeling. Optional: Experience Sea walking on the seabed and watch fishes go by without having to carry oxygen tanks or complicated equipment.

DAY 12 Kota Kinabalu Departure BTransfer to the airport.
