Course Synopsis : This course will provide opportunities for students to learn the theories and practice of effective communication. Emphasis will be on the meaning of communication, its process and the skills needed for the communication to be effective in various situations. Among the skills that will be learned in this course are listening skills, the use of appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication, intrapersonal communication, interpersonal communication, small group communication, public communication and intercultural communication.
