CHAPTER 1---FEAR: FACE UP TO FEAR AND IT WILL DISSAPEAR!

People do not experience success in life due to FEARFEAR of failureFEAR of the unknownFEAR of rejectionFEAR of embarrassmentFEAR of being wrongFEAR of revelationFEAR of non-acceptanceFEAR of not being understood etc.….there are endless list of fear that we experience

Definition of FEAR:

“FEAR is a reactionary emotion triggered by previous information, which has been stored in the subconscious mind. However, the amount or degree of FEAR that is experienced can be controlled.”

CHAPTER 2---CHOOSE TO CHANGE : 5 W 1 H OF LIFE!

To get what we want from life , we must be accountable to OUR SELF!

To our self first and foremost.

We can’t do anything for anyone until we can do it for OURSELVES first!

We must be accountable to ourselves for our actions, our thoughts, our

emotions, and our words. If we are happy with who we are, where we

are, and what we have, then FINE, carry on with it!

BUT if we found out that we are not happy with who we are, where we are

and what we have, then we should CHOOSE TO CHANGE!

Where do we need to be, to be who we want to be?

The Muslim uses the term HIJRAH…even Prophet Muhammad leave his

area of birth.

Maybe we need to do the same….maybe we have to change our

location….. to be who we want to be and what we want to be.

So..when will we make the changes? Depending on how serious we are

about changing it! If we are really serious…it can be NOW!

All we have to do is making a PLAN; starting with our goal and when we

want to achieve it. “ After all: “WE DO NOT PLAN TO FAIL, WE JUST FAIL TO

PLAN”.

Usually, everyone wants to Change the World but the problem is, no one

wants to Change themselves! That is the real problem!

CHAPTER 3---CONFIDENCE TO CHANGE : YOU CAN IF YOU THINK YOU CAN!

HOW can we hope to improve ourselves if we are not willing to Change for

the better?

Improvement means Change; We simply can’t improve by staying at the

same point!

Change must take place and it is NATURAL and PART OF OUR LIFE.

“THERE ARE ONLY 2 CERTAINTIES IN LIFE; ONE IS DEATH AND THE OTHER IS

CHANGE!”

Whether we like it or not LIFE IS CHANGING AROUND US ON A DAILY BASIS.

The question is, ARE WE CONTROLLING THOSE CHANGES or ARE THOSE

CHANGES CONTROLLING US?

REMEMBER : While experiencing Change in life….make sure we do not become SNIOP.

A SNIOP is a person who is susceptible to the NEGATIVE INFLUENCES of other people.

SNIOP MEANS : While we all get start out in life to run the mile, climb the mountain, but somewhere along the way we’re stopped, we get knocked back!

Whatever it is, don’t be SNIOPPED; have the courage to be different and believe your dreams!

MARK TWAIN USED TO SAY : “Keep away from people who try to BELITTLE YOUR AMBITIOUS. Small-minded people always do that, BUT REMEMBER MY FRIEND THE REALLY GREAT PEOPLE MAKE US FEEL THAT WE TOO, ARE GREAT.”

The key to creative Imagination : Intelligent ignorance is the ability to ignore the intelligentAdvice of others who tell us that something cannot be done or that we cannot do it.

So carry on…if you think you can, you can!

CHAPTER 4---EN THEOS : THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOU INTO ACTION IS TO GET ACTION OUT OF YOU!

To get into action, get action out of you! Means activate and “SHAKE” up the power that already lies within you.

This power comes out in the form of SPIRIT. EnTheos is a Greek word from which the word “Enthusiasm” is derived.

The Malay calls it “PENUH SEMANGAT/PENUH MINAT/PENUH KEGAHAIRAHAN MELAKUKAN SESUATU”

Anything that we do in life for it to have any meaning, worthiness or of lasting value must emanate from within ourselves.

It is our understanding of ourselves multiplied by the understanding of others. By understanding others then only we can begin to understand ourselves.

CHAPTER 5---DIRECTION: SET YOUR GOAL AND ACHIEVE IT!

Where do you want to go? Establish it and be clear where to go!

How can we get somewhere if we don’t know where we want to go?

“Because a person without direction is like a ship without a rudder,

which will turn in a never ending circles”

So get a map to enable you to plot a route, “ a track to travel on”, to

get out from where you are now to where you want to be

;i.e. “YOUR TRACK TO SUCCEED ON”.

CHAPTER 6---SELF IMAGE: WE GROW UP THE DAY WE HAVE THE FIRST

REAL LAUGH AT OURSELVES!

Build the foundation of your own self-image positively.

If you are not happy with your self-image, then you must CHOOSE TO

CHANGE!

Keep trying doing something…Because “those who try to do something and

fail are infinitely more worthy than those who try to do nothing and

succeed!”

“No one can make you feel inferior or rejected without your consent”

TOM SHAKESPEARE SAYS ON SELF IMAGE:

“ A GOOD WAY TO DETERMINE YOUR SELF-IMAGE TODAY IS TO DECIDE

HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED TOMORROW!”

CHAPTER 7---EXAMPLE : EXAMPLE IS THE ONLY WAY OF INFLUENCING

PEOPLE!

Means ; be a good example to all human beings around you; sharing what

you have become; it means giving you and your most precious asset -

:”YOUR TIME” to your working colleagues.

…..GIVE YOUR TIME to others and fill it with EN THEOS, LOVE, OPTIMISM,

EMPATHY, COMPLIMENTS, UNDERSTANDING, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT,

RESPECT AND ENTHUSIASM!

Be a Good Example and make it as a HABIT!.

CHAPTER 8---HABIT :

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’VE GOT A HABIT? WHEN THE HABIT HAS GOT

YOU!

1. One great Habit to practice is that of being a “GOOD-FINDER” and not that of

a “FAULT-FINDER”. Built people UP; don’t you ever pull them DOWN.

2. Remember : “A life spent MAKING MISTAKES IS NOT ONLY HONOURABLE BUT

MORE USEFUL than a life spent doing noting.” So, be a good–finder, not a

fault-finder!

3. Get Organized. When you take something away, put it back where you found

it.

4. Make a habit of planning. We do not plan to fail; but we just fail to plan!

You must at all times keep your mind occupied with OPEN AND BRIGHT

THOUGHTS.

Make a habit of it.

CHAPTER 9---ATTITUDE : IT’S YOUR ATTITUDE, NOT YOUR APTITUDE, THAT

DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE!

Be optimistic and develop a positive mental attitude, Whatever we do,

wherever we go , Whoever we are with, LOOK FOR THE GOOD, LOOK FOR

THE GOLD, IN THEM.

Be a good-finder, Not a fault-finder. Be solution conscious, not problem

conscious.

“It’s the easiest thing in the world to criticised……When was the last time

you created something?” ALWAYS ASK YOURSELF.

Remember : What you DEPOSIT IS WHAT YOU WILL WITHDRAW.

CHAPTER 10---KNOWLEDGE : FIRST BE INTERESTED; THEN BECOME

INTERESTING!

Knowledge is not intelligence; it is the ability to learn. Intelligence is the

ability to communicate knowledge for mutual benefit, whatever the

knowledge may be.

Knowledge, however, is something which must be CONSTANTLY REVIEWED

AND REGULARLY UPDATED.

P=UO2 where P is for Peace;

UO is for understanding others, multiplied by

themselves.

CHAPTER 11---EMPATHY : Understanding first; be understood second!

EMPATHY is the ability to understand another person’s point of view,

though we don’t feel the same way about it, and help with solution to the

problem or challenge.

SYMPATHY is also the ability to understand another person’s point of view,

but the difference is feeling the same way about it and therefore becoming

involved in their problem and not its solution.

Hence, try to be more :

EMPATHY because it is more LOGICAL AND OBJECTIVE,

whereas SYMPATHY is more EMOTIONAL AND SUBJECTIVE.

CHAPTER 12---WHAT’S NEXT??? SHAKE THAT FEAR OUT OF YOUR

HEAD!

(1) Face up to fear and

(2) It will disappeared

(3) Dare it to do its worst and

(4) Face up to it

(5) It will dissolve and disappeared

Lastly try to remember this ….SHAKE FORMULAS= SELF IMAGE: We grow up the day we have the first real laugh at ourselves!

H= HABIT : How do you know when you’ve got a habit? When the habit has got you!

A= ATTITUDE : It’s your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude!

K= KNOWLEDGE : First be interested; then become interesting!

E= EMPATHY: Understand first, be understood second!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

LET’S OVERCOME OUR FEARS AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!

TOM SHAKESPEARE

With that; I End My Book Review Session Today,Thank You For Lending Me Your Ears

This Wonderful AfternoonTo All My Fellow Friends.

What’s the point of being miserable and unhappy?
