LICENSED LAND SURVEYORS ORDINANCE. 1958

J I I J ~ . IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Licensed Land Surveyors Ordinance, 1958, the Land Surveyors Board. with the approval of the Minister. hereby makes the following regulations:

Cltauon. 1. These regulations may be cited as the Licensed Land Surveyon (Amendment) Regulations, 1975.

~mendmmtof 2. Regulation 29 (4) of the Licensed Land Surveyors Regulations. regulation 29. F.L.N. 1959 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations) is hereby 261 159. amended by inserting the word "written" immediately after-

(a) the word "any" appearing in line 1; (b) the word "such" appearing in line 2; (c) the word "no" appearing in line 3: (d) the word "all" appearing in line 5 ; and (e) the word "all" appearing in line 7.

Ammdmrnt of 3. Regulation 99 of the principal Regulations is hereby amended- m l a t l o a 99.

(a) by renumbering the existing paragraph 3 a? paragraph 3 (a) and substituting for the word "The" appearing in the para- graph the words "In respect of a title survey of not exceeding ten lots, the"; and

(h) by inserting immediately after paragraph 3 (a) the following new paragraph 3 (b)-

"3. (b) In respect of n title survey of exceeding ten lots, the Board shall. after retaining ten percent of the fee for administrative purposes, pay the remaining ninety percent of the fee to the licensed surveyor in such sums and manner rrs the Board may determine during the progress of the work.

Amendment of 4. Regulation 101 of the principal Regulations is hereby amended- rcrulrrlan 101.

(a) by substituting for paragraph (d) the following new prrragraph- "(d) every licensed surveyor other tkii,, employees of

statutory bodies shall, for making a title survey, be remune- rnted by the fees payable by his client under rule 99 (I);";

(b) by substituting for the full stop appearing in pcrrngrnph (I:) a semicolon; and

(C) by inserting inimediately nfter paragr~ph ( I t ) the followi?? new Paragraph (13-

"( i ) every licensed surveyor who is nn employee of a statutory body shall undertake only survey work of that statutory body.".
