Introduction

Landscaping

Landscaping is the beautification and development of a space by utilizing the natural surroundings or bymodifying the visible features of the space with the aim to improve the aesthetic appearance and also toconserve the environment. Landscape architects do not only design to beautify a space, but they alsodesign to preserve and conserve historical sites, help in land reclamation and rehabilitation, create energysaving gardens and also create a healthy green environment for residential sites.

Landscape architects play important roles in successful housing projects. They design not only to impressthe potential buyers but also to protect the health, safety and welfare of residents. At the same time, theyaim to create green surroundings for the conservation of environment.

According to studies, landscape designs with circles or curves are more preferred.
