Write a report, on Four Ways to Make the Workplace Better for the Environment. In your report,

1. Improve indoor quality of life:

- Allow all workers access to outside windows

- Open windows for air circulation

- Work by natural light

2. Save water

- Use low-flow faucets with automatic shutoffs in kitchens and

bathrooms- Install toilets that allow a low-volume flush

3. Build green

- Avoid using carcinogenic or otherwise environmentally

unfriendly materials

- Buy used furniture or fixtures made from recycled

materials

4. Conserve energy

- Let individuals control the light and temperature in their areas

- Instead of desktop computer, use laptops, which consumemuch less power

- Install motion-sensing switches to turn off lights when workers

are not present
