Seconded to PERCON-BALLAST SDN BHD(joint venture between PERCON

Corporation Sdn Bhd and Ballast Nedam Groep N.V.(M) Sdn Bhd) on the Construction

and Completion of the 2nd

Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Berth and Associated Capital

Dredging Works, Bintulu, Sarawak. This RM 85 Million project is owned by Bintulu Port

Sdn Bhd and the scope of work includes the construction of jetty trestle, loading

platform, substation, breasting and mooring dolphins and pile rehabilitation of the

existing LNG jetty. Prepare overall daily activities report. Supervise the steel piles

cleanout works and ground anchor installation and testing. Responsible for the

construction of breasting and mooring dolphins. Compile report on the Marine Piling and

in charge of the concrete surface and pile coating touch up works.

2.1.2 July 92 - March 94

Planning engineer at PERCON CORPORATION SDN BHD headquarters. Promoted to

be permanent engineer in Planning, Implementation and Monitoring Department. Assist

senior planning engineer in preparing tender submission for bidding i.e. prepare overall

work program, method statement, manpower, plant and equipment selection, etc.

Trainee Engineer at PERCON CORPORATION SDN BHD. Oversee the RM 14 Million

substructure construction of Menara Polo Condominium owned by Pandan Maju Sdn

Bhd at Desa Pandan, Kg. Pandan Tengah, K. Lumpur. Interact closely with main

contractor- Jaya Haricon and Subcontractor- Pacific Piling to obtain first hand experience

on the execution of substructure works such as excavation, installation of micropiles and

pile testing. Take notes on the overall construction progress and trouble shoot the jobsite

problems.

2.1.4 Aug. 91 – Dec. 91

Construction Internee at Washington University Capital Improvement Department to

fulfill Master Degree requirement. Oversee building renovation and finishing up projects,

hot and chilled water pipes replacement project and US$27 Million new Natural Science

Building construction project perform by BSI General Contractor of St Louis. Verify

project compliance with blueprints, specification and structural design. Examine project

activities schedules. Attend most of the project coordination, scheduling, disputes, change

orders and owner-general contractor-subcontractor meeting. Interact with architects,

owner, project manager, superintendent, subcontractors and construction workers.
