(v)Method of control the Manipulate variable: A convex lens with focal length, f = 10 cm is set up as shown in the diagram.Sebuah kanta cembung dengan panjang focus, f = 10 cm disediakan seperti dalam rajah. The distance between the cross wire and the convex lens, u = 30 cm is measured using metre rule.Jarak diantara dawai dan kanta cembung , u = 3- cm diukur menggunakan pembaris.Method of measuring the responding variable: The power supply is switched on. The white screen is moved back and forth until a sharp image is formed on the screen. The distance between the screen and lens, v is measured Bekalan kuasa dihidupkan . skrin putih digerakan ke belakang sehingga imej yang tajam terbentuk diatas skrin.Jarak diantara skrin dan kanta , v diukur

State the method to control the manipulated variable.1. A convex lens with the thickness 0.4 cm is placed in front of a screen.Kanta cembung dengan ketebalan kanta 0.4 cm diletakkan dihadapan skirn.

State the method to measure the responding variable.2. The screen is adjusted until a sharp image is obtained and the distance between the lens and the screen is measured.Skrin dilaraskan sehingga imej yang tajam diperolehi dan jarak antara kanta dan skrin diukur.

Repeat the experiment at least four times.3. Experiment was repeated using convex lenses of thickness 0.6 cm, 0.8 cm, 1.0 cm and 1.2 cm.Eksperimen diulang menggunakan kanta cembung dengan ketebalan kanta 0.6 cm, 0.8 cm, 1.0 cm dan 1.2 cm.

Repeat the experiment at least four times.3. The experiment is repeated by using different values of u = 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm dan 45 cm.Eksperimen ini diulangi dengan menggunakan nilai-nilai yang berbeza u = 25 cm, 30 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm dan 45 cm.
