    Dear All,

    I have more or less reviewed Dell's draft presentation slides and I must say that although the workyou have done is commendable, the slides have been off the track from what is required fromlecturer's point of view.

    Please find the enclosed attachment on guidelines for presentation and write-up as given out earlier

    by Prof. Dr Tusirin.

    To get the maximum marks from the Prof., we need to follow his guidelines as given out.1) Slide 1 - This slides is meant for Executive Summary for the case study applying the Chapter;2) Slide 2 & 3 - Summary of Chapter 4 - Business Level Strategy or Chapter 12 - StrategicLeadership;3) Slide 4 - SWOT analysis which analyse the internal & external environment of Dell / Motorola;4) Slide 5 & 6 - Balance scorecard or KPI focusing on financial, customer, internal business processand learning & growth;5) Slide 7 & 8 - Current strategies adopted by Dell / Motorola and how does it impact to performance;6) Slide 9 - Analysis of Dell / Motorola using Porter's 5 forces - this is a must;7) Slide 10 - You may want to analyse using BCG (Boston Consulting Group) Matrix;

    8) Slide 11 - Highlights the deficiency on the current strategies by highlighting models from Chapter 4or 12;

    9) Slide 12 to 14 - Suggest the new strategies to Dell / Motorola again by using models coming fromChapter 4 or 12;10) Slide 15 - Conclusion

    Please take note that the above slide numbering is just a suggestion only and you may changeaccording to your needs. However, the maximum number of slides including the front slides, contentand thank you should be no more than 20 slides.

    If we follow the above guidelines, insya Allah we will be getting maximum marks. After all, there issort of flow of what Prof. required and must be understandable by the crowd. This is what is all aboutwhen you are involved a lot in Exco meeting and Board meeting in the real world. This is what thecorporate world is practising currently.

    As such, I would suggest Hakim & Norizam to rework on the slides according to what is required byProf. Dr Tusirin. Intan & Muhaini have yet to submit the Motorola slides and hope that yours also willfollow sort of the structure outline above.

    This is what worrying me most. If Hakim submit as what he has done, we still have time to re-work onthe slides as we have ample time to re-work ... but if submit almost near to presentation day, I can tellyou that this is a disaster. So please do work on it early. I hope all of us will take this positively asthis is what you all will go through when climbing up the corporate ladder.

    Please feel free to e-mail to me for queries and suggestion.
