MOOD BOARD:

Created  using  Adobe  Photoshop

WALL DIRECTIVE :

For  the  organization  of  Free  People’s  Spring  2015  resort  wear  collection  the  merchandising  directive  above  was  created.  In  order  to  relay  the  oceanic  vibes  props  such  as  seashell’s,  surfboards,  and  natural  driftwood  were  placed  throughout.  With  a  focus  on  both  folded  and  hung  merchandise.

The  merchandising  directive  shown  above  is  for  Free  people’s  Spring  2015  collection.  In  order  to  relay  the  bohemian  aesthetic  the  brand  is  known  for,  props  such  as  acrylic  deer  busts  and  lace  orbs  were  shown.  For  the  creation  of  this  directive  Adobe  Photoshop  was  utilized.

GROUP WORK PROJECTS

MOOD BOARD:

SHADOW BOX DIRECTIVE: Light  burlap  fabric  is  mounted  on  the  top  and  bottom  of  the  window,  with  a  darker  burlap  lining  the  wall.  A  wooden  palette  is  used  to  create  dimension  and  texture.  Fossil’s  explorer  tote   is  the  focal  point  and  thus  in  the  center  of  the  display.

SHADOW BOX WINDOW DISPLAY :

Logo  has  been  hand  burned  into  a  wooden  plaque  and  hung  from  ceiling.  Graphic  was  placed  onto  glass  in  order  to  show  depth  in  window.  .

MOOD BOARD:

WINDOW DIRECTIVE: Logo  was  determined  too  dark  to  see  in  window  directive.  In  order  to  solve  this  problem  the  logo  was  lightened  to  a  neon  yellow,  as  seen  in  final  display.

WINDOW DISPLAY :

Neon  yellow  string  was  hung  with  push  pins  placed  in  the  felt  wall.  In  order  to  mimic  a  plaid  print,  the  string  was  hung  across  itself  into  a  V  formation.  This  also  creates  a  sense  of  depth  and  movement  drawing  the  eye  in  towards  the  center  of  the  window.

CONT.

MOOD BOARD:

Wanted  to  frame  the  dancers  body  and  promote  the  idea  that  the  positions  are  a  work  of  art.  This  combined  with  Capezio’s  ballet  slippers  created  a  simple  and  elegant  mood.

WINDOW DIRECTIVE: Black  fabric  is  used  to  line  the  window  with  the  focal  point  photo  attached  to  the  back  wall.  To  frame  the  photo,  a  picture  frame  is  hung  on  the  front  glass  of  the  window.  Capezio ballet  slippers  are  placed  off  center  in  the  window  with  the  logo  juxtaposed  across  from  them.  This  creates  balance.

SHADOWBOX WINDOW DISPLAY :

Slippers  were  hand  dyed  to  continue  the  black,  white,  and  red  color  palette.    Graphic  placed  on  window  hung  using  glue  dots.
