DAY 1ARRIVE YANGON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (D)Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, receive a warm welcome by our local guide who

will arrange your transfer to the hotel for check in.An enchanting evening visit to Myanmars most revered Shwedagon Pagoda - a 2500 years old

world famous Golden Stupa where the dome rises 98 meters above its base and richly layered

with 60 tons of pure gold along with numeric precious stones such as jade, ruby, sapphire and

diamond including a 76 carat solid diamond on its top. One of the wonders of the world!

After the grandiose introduction to Yangon, you will be treated to a sumptuous dinner at a local

    restaurant.

DAY 2YANGON (B,L,D)After breakfast, embark on a Yangon city tour which takes you to Sule Pagoda - the heart of

the city surrounded by several old but significant colonial-style buildings which showed the

extensive European influence on Myanmar history and culture.Take in the magnificent monuments of the past - Strand Jetty, Kaba Aye Pagoda, Mahapasana

Cave and Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which is revered as having one of the biggest reclining Buddha

images in Myanmar, some say even in the world!

The tour continues with a visit to a local glass blowing factory and gem souvenir centre. It

should offer you a great opportunity to shop and buy some gifts for family and friends.

Go for an evening shopping spree at Bogyoke Market (formerly known as Scott Market), a

sprawling 75 years old shopping complex noted for its variety of handicrafts and other

    souvenir items.

Walk along the streets of Chinatown with the many stalls and hawkers' stands.

Enjoy the evening where you will be entertained with a traditional cultural show while having

dinner at Karaweik Palace an extremely famous restaurant located on the Royal Lake. It was

built in the style of a Royal Barge where in the past the Myanmar's Kings used for official

    functions and festivities.

    DAY 3YANGON THANLYIN YANGON (B,L,D)

After breakfast, visit Thanlyin - an important Burmese trading center whilst still a colony of

the Portuguese during the 16th century. It used to be known as Syriam, a historical major port.It was and still is a strategic oil refinery and industrial zone. Visit the interesting Kyauktan

Yele Pagoda (middle stream) temple, set on a tiny island in the middle of the river, and then

explore 2 more pagodas. Feed the river fishes with grounded wheat and corn balls which is

purchased from the local peddlers. Be astonished by their enormous sizes.

Also experience the riverside market before taking a drive along the longest bridge back to

    Yangon.

Upon arrival in Yangon, visit the Tooth Relic Pagoda. This pagoda enshrines over two

thousand Buddha images. It has gilded pillars, teak pillars and a gold painted lacquer canopy -
