Day - 1 # Arrive at Trivandrum. In and around Trivandrum.
Visit to Padmanabh Swami Temple, Akkulam Lake, Museum, Nepiyar Valley, Tourist Village.
Evening visit to the Lighthouse / Hawa Beach at Kovalam.
Day - 2 # Kanyakumari excursions.
Day excursion to Kanyakumari (90 kms - 4 hours), a renowned Pilgrimage and heritage destination.
Visit to Vivekanand Rock, GandhiMemorial, and Kanyakumari Temple, view the confluence of three seas.
Day - 3 # Proceed to Kottayam. Enjoy Back Water Boat Cruise.
Proceed to Kottayam (150 kms - 5 hrs). Afterward proceed to Kumarakom houseboat Jetty (33 kms - 1
hr) at Vembanad lake. Enjoy Back Water Boat Cruise. Kumarakom is renowned for its lakeside and
backwaters and what gives Kerala the name "Venice of the East".
Day - 4 # Proceed to Thekkady. Sightseeing around Thekkady
Proceed to Thekkady (2500 ft asl) (120 kms - 4 hrs). Thekkady is a spice plantation area surrounded by
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and visited for its salibrious climate, plantation backdrop and activities around
Periyar reserve forest. Enjoy Periyar boat cruise and later Kathakali dance show.
Given time Spice garden visit (Cardamom, Pepper, Cinnamon, Vanilla) can be done alongwith a visit to
Elephant Junction for the elephant experience (elephant ride).
Day - 5 # Proceed to Munnar.
Proceed to Munnar (110 kms - 5 hrs). Munnar (5000+ ft asl) is a tea plantation region and a renowned
Hill station in the plantation higlands of Kerala. Explore local market for shopping.
In the evening visit the Punarjani Traditional Village that offers daily evening shows of Kalaripattu
(Martial art form) and Kathakali (Dance form).
Day - 6 # Sightseeing In and around Munnar
Visit beautiful Tea Gardens of Tata Tea Co., Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Raja Malai
(Highest Place of Munnar).
Day - 7 # Proceed to Cochin.
Proceed to Cochin (130 kms - 4 hrs). Visit to Shiva Temple, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing net.
Day - 8 # Departure Depart for onward journey.
