Chinese Ink PaintingThe traditional ink painting has its own form in the fieldart, generally catagorised into paintings of figure,landscape, technical drawings, floral, fruits, birds,animals, insects and fish. Ink painting uses thetechniques of lines and tonal variations of ink with theapplication of brush marks and contrasts as anexpressionistic rendering, to achieving images,composition and design. It is unlimited by visual spacefor sparceness. It is also not bound by perspective.

Chinese CalligraphyChinese Calligraphy is a unique art in transformingChinese characters into on expression of image. It isbelieved that calligraphy helps to discipline andcultivate a persons character and emotions. Throughthe evolution of history in China, different styles ofChinese characters were created. In order to simplifythe learning of Chinese calligraphy, Li Shu, Kai Shuand Xing Shu were selected as the basic styles ofChinese characters and it is recommended that abeginner to follow this sequence when learning thisbeautiful art. Participants can choose to decide tomaster the style they preferred after mastered thesebasic styles.
