Forsports enthusiasts, there were tennis and badminton courts .. Children could have a fun time in the gamesroom and the playground. Besides these facilities, the hotel also organized "Tai-Chi' exercises for the olderpeople, while the more adventurous could go jungle trekking.

Later Mr. Lim decided to drive the family to Tanah Rata to have a light meal. On the way, theypassed by a typical English country home stay called Smokehouse Innwhere they served traditional Englishtea and scones. After the meal they drove on. Just before Ringlet, they stopped at the Lake house, situatedbeside a lake. The hotel was unusual as it tried to create a Scottish atmosphere. Here, the staff even worekilts made of tartan of the Cameron Clan. This tickled the children tremendously.

The next morning, they visited a tea plantation. There the children learned how tea was processed.Next, they visited the Rose Garden where they could feast their eyes on the many different varieties ofroses. Mrs. Lim could not resist buying two dozens pink and red roses. Since the Highland was noted fortheir fresh vegetables, a visit to a vegetable farm in Brinchang is a must. At Kea Farm, they were fascinatedby the rows upon rows of green vegetables but best of all, Mrs. Lim could buy these vegetables at incrediblylow prices .
