In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

1. Certainly Allah has heard the words of her who is pleading with you concerning her husband and complainsto Allah. And Allah hears the argument between you both. Indeed, Allah is All Hearing, All Seeing.

î ÅÁ t/ ∩⊇∪

2. Those among you who pronounce zihar from their wives (put them away by saying that they are their mothers). They are not their mothers. Their mothers are none except those who gave them birth. And indeed they say an ill word and alie. And indeed Allah is All Pardoning, All Forgiving.

3. And those who pronounce zihar from their wives, then go back on what they had said, then (they must) free a slave before that they (two)touch each other. That is what you are advisedthereby. And Allah is Aware of what you do.

4. Then he who does not find (slave) should fast twosuccessive months before that the two touch each other. And he who is not able (to do this) should feed sixty needy ones. This is so that you may believe in Allah and His Messenger. And those are the limits (set) by Allah. Andfor the disbelievers there is a painful punishment.

5. Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger shall be abased as were abased those before them. And We have certainly sent down clear signs. And for the disbelievers there is a disgraceful punishment.

6. The Day when Allah will resurrect them all together, then He will inform them of what they did. Allah has kept account of it while they forgot it. And Allah is witness over all things.

7. Have you not seen that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whateveris on the earth. There is not any secret conversationof three, but He is the fourth of them, nor of five but He is the sixth of them, nor of less than that, nor more except He is with them wherever they may be.Then He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, Allah is Knower of all things.

8. Have you not seen those who were forbidden from secret conversation, then they returned to that which they had been forbidden. Andthey converse secretly of sin

3“ uθôf ¨Ζ9 $# §ΝèO tβρ ߊθ ãè tƒ $ yϑ Ï9 (#θ åκ çΞ

çμ ÷Ζ tã šχ öθ yf≈oΨ oK tƒ uρ ÉΟ øO M} $$ Î/

and transgression and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to you, they greet you with that (word) by which Allah has not greeted you, and they say to themselves:“Why does Allah not punish us for what we say.” Hell is sufficient for them, they will (enter to) burn therein. So evil is that destination.

9. O you who believe, when you converse secretly, then do not converse about sin and transgression and disobedience to the Messenger, but converse of righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, Him unto whom you shall be gathered.

10. Secret conversation is only from Satan, that he may cause grief to those who believe, and he cannot harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And in Allah let the believers put their trust.

’ n? tã uρ «! $# È≅ ©. uθ tG uŠù= sù tβθ ãΖ ÏΒ÷σ ßϑø9 $# ∩⊇⊃∪

11. O you who believe, when it is said to you,make room in the assemblies, then make room. Allah will make room for you. And when it is said, come up higher, then go up higher. Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have been granted knowledge, in ranks. And Allah is Aware of what you do.

12. O you who believe,when you consult the Messenger in private, then present before your consultation some charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you do not find (the means for it), then indeed, Allah is All Forgiving, All Merciful.

13. Are you afraid that you will have to present, before your consultation in private, charities. Then when you do not do (so), and

z>$ s? uρ ª! $# öΝä3 ø‹ n= tæ (#θ ßϑŠÏ% r' sù nο 4θ n= ¢Á9 $#

Allah has forgiven you, then establish prayer and give poor due and obey Allah andHis Messenger. And Allah is Aware of what you do.

14. Have you not seen of those who have taken as friends a people with whomAllah has become angry.Neither they are of you norof them, and they swear to a false oath and they know.

|= ÅÒ xî ª! $# ΝÍκ ö n= tã $ ¨Β Ν èδ öΝ ä3Ζ ÏiΒ

Ÿω uρ öΝ åκ÷] ÏΒ tβθ à Î= øts† uρ ’ n? tã É> É‹ s3ø9 $#

öΝèδ uρ tβθ ßϑ n= ôè tƒ ∩⊇⊆∪

15. Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, evil is that whichthey are doing.

£‰ tã r& ª! $# öΝ çλ m; $ \/# x‹ tã #´‰ƒ ω x© ( óΟ ßγ ¯Ρ Î)

u™ !$ y™ $ tΒ (#θ çΡ% x. tβθ è= yϑ ÷è tƒ ∩⊇∈∪

16. They have taken their oaths as a covering, and they hinder (people) from the path of Allah. So for them is a disgraceful punishment.

17. Never will avail them their wealth, nor their children anything against Allah. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, They will abide therein.

18. The Day when Allahwill resurrect them all together, then they shall swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something (to stand upon). Is it not indeed they who are the liars.

19. Satan has overcome them and has caused them forget Allah’s remembrance. Such are the party ofSatan. Is it not indeed the party of Satan who are the losers.

20. Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, such will be among those most humiliated.

y7 Í×≈ s9 'ρ é& ’ Îû t⎦⎫ Ïj9 sŒF{$# ∩⊄⊃∪

21. Allah has decreed: “I and My Messengers shall most certainly prevail.” Indeed, Allah is All Powerful, All Mighty.

22. You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His

ω ߉Åg rB $ YΒöθ s% šχθ ãΖ ÏΒ ÷σム«! $$ Î/

ÏΘ öθ u‹ø9 $# uρ Ì ÅzFψ $# šχρ –Š!# uθ ムô⎯ tΒ

Messenger, even if they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. Those, He has decreed in their hearts faith, and has supported them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to the Gardens underneath which rivers flow, to abide therein. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. Those are the party of Allah. Is it not indeed the party of Allah who are the successful.
