First report of haemorrhagic vasculitis: casereport
A study identified a 21-year-old woman who developedhaemorrhagic vasculitis during adjunctive treatment withpregabalin [Lyrica] for temporal epilepsy. Pregabalin hadbeen initiated at 75mg twice daily and, after 1.5 years, shepresented with a haemorrhagic rash on her legs which wasdetermined to be haemorrhagic vasculitis [dosage atreaction onset not stated]. Pregabalin was switched toNeurontin [outcome not stated].
