Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.

Write a summary on:

a) the types of eating disordersb) the dangers of eating disordersc) how to treat them

in continuous writing form in one paragraph

in your own words as far as possible in not more than 60 words including the 10 words given below.

The three types of eating disorders among the young people...

More young people use food to deal with their negative feelings about

themselves and their lives. Some starve themselves until they are thin. This is called

anorexia nervosa. Others binge on huge amounts of food then make themselves sick

so that they wont put on weight. This is bulimia nervosa. A third group are compulsive

eaters. They eat large amounts of food and they then try to diet.

These eating disorders are bad for the body; anorexia can kill or permanently

damage the heart, kidneys or other organs, and cause other health problems.

Whatever the reason for eating disorder, it is vital to get help before permanent

damage is done. Anyone with an eating disorder needs help to find out what is wrong

and how to deal with it. The family should consult a therapist to find out what is going

wrong.
