Issues Arising : I found myself having problem to insert a calendar into the module and to bind the selected date into a textbox.

Issues Resolved : I need a coding that can make the selected date automatically bind to the textbox. After I review a few modules developed by Mr Yaseen, I have found suitable codes that can be used in my modules.

8 Feb 2011 -Do the same job in the server room just like yesterday-Solve IP conflict via phone with Carrier branch staff at Penang.-reinstall Symantec update into the File Server in the server room-Troubleshoot Mr Manimaran’s laptop

Problem: cannot access into Carrier Training web page.

Solution: backup all data from Mr Manimaran’s account. Delete the account and recreate the account for him. Transfer back all the backup data into the new account made.

9 Feb 2011 -Do all the necessary job at server room just like yesterday-Design and develop E-Medical Claim List form.-Create new table for E-Medical Claim called medFamily.-Setting up conference room for Mr Yaseen.

Issues Arising : I’m having a problem to show the attached medical claim receipt. I already try to find the codes via internet but seem it failed.

Issues Resolved : To view the medical claim receipt, I need to find a codes to view the receipt on a new Internet Explorer window.

Assistance Required : I asked Mr Yaseen help for this matter because I never done this type of modules.

Assistance Obtained : Mr Yaseen has teach me how to use hyperlink control and coding to view the receipt. Then I can do it by my own.




-develop HOD page for E-Medical Claim

-HOD page is a page where Head of Department of each section can view all claim requested by their staff.-He\She will select the claims made and can choose between Approve or Reject the claim.

-update Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2007 for the finance staffs.-update Miss Mok Wai Ling laptop.

-MIS department need to update all the pc and notebook in finance department updated from Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2007.-Mr Mahadzir has assigned me for this task.

8 Mar 2011 -Do the same job in the server room.-update Mr Jason’s pc. Update to Microsoft Office 2007.-do minor troubleshoot for Grace from Kuching Branch.-design and develop GM Approval page.

9 Mar 2011 -Do the same job in the server room.-continue updating Mr Jason’s pc-update window and antivirus-continue design and develop GM Approval page.

-GM Approval page is a page where the entire claim issued by manager and supervisor will goes to.-General Manager will choose the claim and will decide to approve or reject it.

10 Mar 2011 -Do the same job in the server room.-finishing GM Approval page.-present HOD Approval page and GM Approval page to Mr Yaseen.

-Need to do minor modification on the HOD Approval page and GM Approval page.-Need to insert comment column.-Can proceed to the next phase.

11 Mar 2011 -Do the same job in the server room.-updating Ms Saraswathy pc from Microsoft Office 2003 to Microsoft Office 2007.

-Ms Saraswathy didn’t have the same problem like Mr Jason and Miss Mok Wai Ling laptop.-Can update automatically without need to format the pc.

Issues Arising : during updating to Microsoft Office 2007, most of the machine cannot detect the update patch from the installer cd.

Issues Resolved : Format the pc but before installing the pc driver, install Microsoft Office at the first place.

Assistance Required : Make a call to Microsoft Malaysia to find the problem using the Microsoft genuine product.

Assistance Obtained : Been advised to format the pc and install it first before install the driver. They might be some slide problem with the compatibility issues.

-HR Process page is a page for Human Resource department staff.-This page shown all the claims that already approved by Head of Departments and also General Manager.-This page has a same form as the form submitted by staff and it will also have hyperlink to show the medical claim receipt in pdf format.

-Status Update page is a page for Human Resource department staff to update staff information regarding their marital status and also the dependent.-this page will update and insert new status for the staff.

23 Mar 2011 -Do all the same job in server room.-Finishing and minor modification on E-Medical Claim module for evening presentation with Human Resource staff.-Setup learning room for the presentation.-Presenting E-Medical Claim module to Human Resource staff, Madam Rashifah and Madam Saliha and supervised by Mr Suhardi and Mr Yaseen.

-according to the presentation, a lot of changes need to be done.-most of the changes are in HR Process page.

24 Mar 2011 -Do all the same job in the server room.-need to modified HOD Approval page, GM Approval page, HR process and Summary.-redesign HR process page.

25 Mar 2011 -Do all the same job in the server room.-redesign and develop HR Process page.

Issues Arising : Having a problem to export data to the Excel

Issues Resolved : This page need codes to export the data to the Microsoft Excel.

Assistance Required : I need to find the codes to make sure data can be exported to Microsoft Excel.

Assistance Obtained : I have view Mr Yaseen previous modules and Mr Yaseen himself has teach me on how the code can send the data to Excel. This code is successfully implemented into my module.

Issues Arising : I found myself in problem when I cannot open a pdf file from selected file in a gridview, and having a problem to insert a textbox in a gridview.

Issues Resolved : I need a coding to insert a control to gridview and the codes to make it useful for my module.

Assistance Required : I need Mr Yaseen help according this matter.

Assistance Obtained : Mr Yaseen give me web address where can I found suitable codes to implement the control. Then I can do it by my own.

-Setup printer for Madam Wan Azneeta-having problem to print using new printer installed.-Install printer driver for Mr Eric Tan-Solved network problem for Mr Chan Chee Siong

Problem-no network access(LAN not connected)

Solution-Tight the LAN cable and advised if still have the same problem, need to change the LAN cable.

6 April 2011 -Do all the same job in server room.-Request data from Human Resource department for E-Medical Claim module used.-Solved Mr Hermi Sabisih problem:

Remove his Microsoft Outlook account.

Transfer data from his profile to Mr Feng Swee Wee profile.

-Configure Microsoft Outlook account for Mr Feng Swee Wee-Change LAN cable for Mr Chan Chee Siong

-Mr Hermi want to delete his account because he don’t want his data from his primary pc lost when he open outlook from the second pc.

7 April 2011 -Do all the same job in server room-configure LAN connection for Madam Saraswathy.-update notice board pc with new flash data-setup BaanIV id for Mr Hermi Sabisih and Mr Feng Swee Wee.

Issues Arising : I am having a problem to configure Baan software because I never used this type of software.

Issues Resolved : I need to know the hostname, the method, port number and Bshell environment for Baan configuration.

Assistance Required : I need assistance from senior staff in this company to show me how to setup Baan software.

Assistance Obtained : Miss Intan has printout manual how to configure Baan software and show me on how to configure Baan software. Then I can configure it by my own in Warehouse department.
