QIU's hostels provide accommodation for students who yearn for the experience of independent life in a secure environment. Nestled in the greenery of the Kinta Valley, our condominium units give students the option of staying in a single or twin- sharing room, with 4 or 6 occupants to a unit.
Transportation is provided to shuttle students between the residences and the city campus. Security checkpoints are installed outside each unit, as part of the 24-hour security surveillance system operated by QIU-appointed personnel.

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to design, develop and apply information technology (IT) that helps organisation to thrive in a challenging business climate.
The programme places an emphasis on acquiring the specialised skills needed for successful and long-term careers in the IT industry. To shape graduates who are ready for the fast-paced IT environment, students in this programme learn how to integrate advanced computing theories with extended core competencies on project management, entrepreneurship and business intelligence.
Blended with an innovative curriculum, this programme balances theory and practical applications in a broad range of Internet technologies. Students will go through extensive laboratory practice with four months of intensive industrial training designed to provide substantial exposure in the real world. Through this programme, they will develop strong analytical skills and apply critical thinking abilities to solve complex business problems with IT knowledge, principles and practical industry applications.

General Certificate of Education Advanced (“A”) LevelsPass A-Level in two (2) subjects or its equivalent with a credit in Mathematics at O levels or its equivalent
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)Pass STPM with Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) subjects and a Pass in SPM OR its equivalent with a credit in Mathematics
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)Pass with a minimum Grade B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics
