Oct-11: Pre-Contract Apron Works by SACL- Ford Civil Contracting undertook Apron enabling

works, directly for SACL.- Fuel lines, stormwater drainage and aviation

lighting- Gate Hardstands concrete aprons slabs- Taxiway AC pavements

Apr-12: Site Establishment- Piling Complete- Footings and Lift base under construction- Operational airport facilities entirely envelope the

project site.

Jul-12: Super-Structure Underway- Partial Demolition of the Southern Terminal

Structure complete- Post-tensioned concrete structure under way,

Level 2 Poured- Tower Crane positioned within building to

minimise slew radius over operational gates.

Aug-12: Final Slab Pour - Mobile pump setup for daytime concrete pour of

stair Core.- Note the cleanliness of compound to prevent

debris on the taxiways

Sep-12: Super-Structure Nearing Completion- Cores and columns extending above the uppermost

storey- Temporary perimeter waterproofing has permitted

early commencement of internal fit-out.

Oct-12: Roof Steelwork and Roofing - 100T of Roof Steelwork installed in 12 days- Roofing to Plant rooms advanced- Cooling Towers installed

Nov-12: Aerobridge Installation- Aircraft Boarding Bridges being clad on site prior

to lifting.- Aerobridges delivered and stored within lift radius

of mobile cranes, tandem lift required.

Dec-12: Four Gates and Bus Terminal Operational- December 12 Interim Occupation achieved and Separable

Potion 1 Practical Completion granted.- Virgin commissioning complete and facilities fully

functional.- Busy with Christmas holiday passengers volumes

Jul-13: Works Complete - Terminal 2 Pier A works complete and fully utilised.
