Unconjugated hyperbilirubinaemia: case reportA woman [age not stated] developed unconjugated

hyperbilirubinaemia while receiving atazanavir. In December2011, the woman started combination antiretroviral therapythat included atazanavir [dosage and route not stated]. Onemonth later, her safety bloods revealed a bilirubin level threetimes the upper limit. In February 2012, she reportedlongstanding tiredness and mild jaundice to her GP, whoarranged for further investigation in hospital. Upon discussionwith hospital doctors, they were informed thathyperbilirubinaemia was a common side effect of atazanavir. Adiagnosis of drug-related unconjugated hyperbilirubinaemiawas made, and she was discharged [outcome not stated].
