WiZE Mobile TV solution currently runs totally via IP accessible via local WIFI or 3G. We’ve managed to run the system at minimal bandwidth to support our local infrastructure and also maintain the superior quality of the video. As time goes along in this SI business, we decided to develop, build and integrate our own system, with the idea to operate and deploy our MobileTv Solution on an international scale working together with content providers.

WANT some inspiration or motivation to help you in life? Head over to Starbucks at Bangsar Village 2 for its "Live and Inspire" sessions at 8pm every Wednesday until Oct 7.
The sessions which are hosted by invited speakers are organised in conjunction with the upcoming Live and Inspire Weekend at the Sunway Convention Centre on Oct 24 and 25 – an initiative to highlight the work and accomplishments, personal struggles and strategies of ordinary people who live extraordinary lives.
"Speakers featured at Wednesday sessions are people who have created the extraordinary in their life for the betterment of the human spirit," Empower Lives CEO Tim Fernandez said.
"The coffee session is for Malaysians by Malaysians. It gives you information, strategies, insights in the most casual setting of learning," he said. "There will also be a Q&A segment that encourages people to interact with the featured speakers."
Last week’s session featured musician and composer Pete Teo, who spoke about his recent project 15Malaysia which comprises 15 short films made by Malaysian filmmakers.
These films deal with socio-political issues in Malaysia and feature well-known faces in the country including actors, musicians and political leaders.
Some of the "stars" include politicians Khairy Jamaluddin, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Seri Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and Batu MP Tian Chua; Serena C, Amber Chia, Sharifah Amani, Jason Lo, Harith Iskander, Patrick Teo and Zainal Baki.
Since 15Malaysia’s launch, it has registered over 50,000 downloads. Four short films have been launched to date, with another making its debut today.
During the Starbucks session last week, Teo talked about how his career was built on the internet. He said one can create a viral effect on the internet, affirming that content and honesty about content is a priority.
Asked what inspired him, Teo said: "To get the country to laugh together was an inspiration. The nation feels a common emotion."
He said the last time the country actually came together was to grieve the passing of his good friend Yasmin Ahmad. Teo fondly recalled that what connected them was always their differences.

If you are a big fan of the environment, the speaker for tonight – Matthias Gelber – will be your cup of tea (or coffee).
Gelber, a German entrepreneur who has lived in Malaysia for some years, beat 600 other participants from around the world to win the Greenest Person on Planet award by 3rdwhale, a Canadian based green organisation.
He will talk about eco action in daily life and business, and the Eco Warriors, Malaysia – a group on Facebook that focuses on planting trees to combat climate change and sees to the needs of the environment and future generations.
Gelber said he was inspired to start the Eco Warriors in Malaysia after attending a course by T. Harv Eker called "The Enlightened Warrior".

The group also focuses on environmental activities in Malaysia.

XCHG Technology introduces their
mobile TV channels

Owners of any 3G or WiFi-enabled mobile phone with a Flash
Lite 3.0, 2.1 or 2.0 enabled browser can stream videos for free
at http://phone.mobiletv.my. The site features six free-to-air
channels; brEaking news, touR station, Amuse Station, sWeat
station, eYeQ station and xchG station, each with a series of
videos which repeat every four hours. They are streamed from a
server hosted by TM in Brickfields.
So far, they are accessible on 94 models of Nokia phones
including the Eseries, 75 Sony Ericsson, 19 LG, five Samsung
and four Motorola models. For those who would like to try the
service, it’s best to have an unlimited data plan or use WiFi where
available. XCHG hopes to partner with telcos to provide the
services as a fixed rate package.
The service was created and is provided by Shah Alam-based
XCHG Technology (www.myxchg.com), a partnership between
content developer Firdaus Mohd Zainal, chief technology officer
Pasha Zahari and business development manager Mahadevan, is
also a mobile video social networking site similar to YouTube.
Registered users can upload videos from their PC
through http://4u2c.mobiletv.my.
“We wanted to provide a telco-independent mobile TV service
which is Internet Protocol-based, and platform independent with
the use of Flash Lite technology,” Pasha told Mobile World at the
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commissions
headquarters in Cyberjaya on August 21.
XCHG also hopes to sign up various popular local and
international subscription premium video streaming providers and
also sees Mobiletv.my as a platform to air independent short
