User  Guide  v8.0                                                        

1. Tourism  Malaysia  Image  Gallery  is  accessible  from  the  following  URL  http://imagegallery.tourism.gov.my    

 

     

2. To  register  for  a  new  user,  kindly  contact  ramish@tourism.gov.my  or  ahmadsuhaimi@tourism.gov.my.  Please  include  your  details  inclusive  of  your  name  and  contact  details.  

                                       

3. To  login,  to  Tourism  Image  Gallery,  please  click  on  Log  in  on  the  upper  fight  of  the  screen.  A  dialog  box  as  shown  below  will  appear.  Please  enter  your  username  and  password.  Click  Log  in  to  proceed.  

 

                                               

4. Tourism  Malaysia  Image  Gallery’s  archive  is  divided  into  multiple  states  and  territories  as  below:  -­‐  • All  Malaysia  • Johor  • Kedah  • Kelantan  • Kuala  Lumpur  • Langkawi  • Negri  Sembilan  • Pahang  • Melaka  • Perak  • Perlis  • Pulau  Labuan  • Pulau  Pinang  • Putrajaya  • Sabah  • Sarawak  • Selangor  • Terengganu    To  access  the  required  archive,  please  click  on  the  image  above  the  name.    

           

5. To  search  for  an  image,  please  click  on  the  search  bar  on  the  upper  right  of  the  screen.  An  example  will  be  searching  for  klcc.  Press  enter  to  proceed.  

 

   

 A  list  of  hits  will  appear  for  the  archive  you  have  selected.  A  number  will  also  be  indicated  on  other  archives  to  indicate  that  those  archives  has  hits  to  your  search  as  well  as  shown  below.    

      You  may  click  on  the  other  archive  names  to  change  to  archives  with  hits.       To  clear  the  search,  click  on  the  search  bar  and  press  the  X  button.                

6. To  download  any  image,  click  on  the  designated  image  to  enter  the  preview  screen.  Preview  screen  is  as  shown  below.  

 

   

Click  on  the  blue  Download  button  on  the  right  above  the  image  to  download  the  file.  Other  optional  sizes  are  available  on  the  right  of  the  screen,  which  includes:  -­‐  

• Web  (200  px)  • Presentation  (800px)  • Editor  (2048  px)  

 A  dialog  box  will  appear  as  below  and  the  image  will  be  downloaded.  Click  Download  again  if  the  download  did  not  start
