Thematic Word Book
This project involved choosing an animal and creating a four page layout of sentences and illustrations to help express that word. My word was shark so I created sentences that told facts about sharks. I made the illustrations that would help visualize my sentences and having them interact with each other created stronger communication in my design. All illustrations were hand drawn and then transferred and �nished in illustrator.
Boiler Breakers
Boiler Breakers is Purdue University's breakdance club. In order to give the club a brand, I created a new logo and marketing material. My �rst project was the club's logo followed by a shirt design which was sold to members of the club. My next project was a poster for our callout in Fall 2013. My latest project was a wooden medallion design.
Cobra Logotype
After choosing an object, cobra, the next step was creating a logo for that image. First, a simple drawing was created from a selected pose, which shows the elegance and movement of a cobra. Then a abstracted drawing was created using varied lines to imply shape, strengthening the qualities of a cobra. A logo type was created to give the feel of a cobra while maintaining legibility. Combining logo and type �nished the logo creating a good relationship of image and type. Finally color was added to enhance the combined logo.
Bboy Magazine Spread
This project involved choosing a how-to topic and then creating a 4 page spread. I chose the topic of breakdance and created a tutorial with custom and stock images. The goal of this project was to bring dynamic images and colors while presenting information in a easily readible manner.

The Child’s Story
Charles Dickens
After choosing a short story, "The Child's Story", a cover was designed for an eBook version. The purpose of the cover is to bring out the story's themes of life's journey and growing up. The story is further illustrated through small illustrations within the text.
LACD Career Week 2014
Career Week is a week long event full of professional workshops, speakers, and a career fair put together by the Purdue Liberal Arts Career Development intern team. As the graphic design intern, it was my job to design the marketing material for this event. This year's theme was The Amazing Race, a race to �nd your career goals. Combining elements from both The Amazing Race and career professionalism gave our event a unique theme and feel to attract students, faculty, and sta� all over Purdue's campus and employers from all over the nation.
Breakin the Ice 2
Breakin the Ice
Breakin the Ice 2 is Purdue’s second ever breakdance competition organized by myself and the breakdancing club. I acted as event organizer and was in charge of the entire event and creating marketing material for advertising and all aspects to make the event successful. Marketing, passing out �yers, social media, and networking were all crucial to make the event a success.
