    Brothers/sisters in humanity

    Verily, We have conferred dignity on the children of Adam

    Allah addresses human beings as:

    Bani Adam Children of Adam(Muslims and non-Muslims alike)

    We are all

    WHO ARE NON-MUSLIMS?

    Children of Adam means: born to the proto-parents (Adam & Eve), i.e.,

    The Qurn has used the word:

    For the people of ad [We sent] their brother Hud (7:65)

    For the people of Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih (7:73)

    For the people of Midian [We sent] their brother Shu`ayb (7:88)

    WHO ARE NON-MUSLIMS?

    They are brothers/sisters in humanity

    The Creator of all

    The Benefactor of humanity

    The Guidance for our lives

    But IGNORANT of

    WHO ARE NON-MUSLIMS?

    Allah = Not GOD of Muslims alone He is- Rabb-ul-`aalameen (1:2)- Rabb-un-naas (114:1)

    Lord of the worldsThe Lord of mankind

    Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) = Not a Prophet for Muslims aloneHe is Allahs

    - rahmatun-lil-`aalameen (21:107)- kaaffatun lin-naas (34:28)We have not sent you except

    to the entire mankind

    Mercy to the worlds

    The Quran = Not meant for Muslims aloneIt is the Book of Guidance-- dhikrun-lil-`aalameen (12:104 )- hudan lin-naas (2:185)

    You are the best communityraised up for humankind

    (3:110)

    And thus We made you a justly balanced community, so that ye might bewitness before humankind (2:143)

    Even we MUSLIMS => Raised up for no-Muslims!

    O humankind! We created you from a single [pair] of a male and a female, andmade you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may

    despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the

    most righteous of you. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.(49:13)

    WHO ARE NON-MUSLIMS?

    To each of you have We have prescribed a law and a way. If Allah had sowilled, He would have made you a single people, but [His plan is] to test youthrough that He has given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues.(5:48)

    It is their RIGHT to know about the Truth,

    As for such [non-Muslims] who do not fight you on account of [your] faith, or drive youforth from your homelands, Allah does not forbid you toshow them kindness(alsolove and respect) and todeal with them justly, for Allah loves those who act justly.

    Allah only forbids you to turn in friendship towards such as fight against you becauseof [your] faith and drive you forth from your homelands or aid [others] in driving youforth. (60:8-9)

    The term birr(and its derivatives) are the same expressions used in the Quran and Hadith to

    refer to ones relationship with the parentsThe term qistmeans going beyond justice by giving more than what is due to others, while the Arabicword `adlrefers to giving the other his or her rights, no less and no more.

    In fact, mercy applies as well to animals and other creatures of Allah.

    Good and evil cannot be equal. Repel [evil] with what is better; and thereuponyour enemy [may then become] as close as an old and valued friend!

    The non-Muslim MINDSET is different.They have utterly different religious concepts, views, and understanding.

    Therefore, they need a totally different approach & treatment.

    someone to Islam

    It is important to understand that:

    We have not sent you as a guard over them. Your duty is

    but toconveythe message. (42:48)

    Verily you guide not whom you like, butAllah guideswhomHe wills, and He knows best those who are guided. (28:56)
