10 (a) Hypothesis :Plant grown in culture solution without macronutrient / nitrogen will not show normal /healthy growth./Plant grown in Knop culture solution will show normal growth /healthy growth.(Tumbuhan yang tumbuh di dalam larutan kultur tanpa makronutrien / nitrogen akan menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang tidak normal / tidak tumbuh sihat ) 1 m

(b) (i) Aim of the experiment :To study the effect of macronutrient /nitrogen on plant growth.

( Untuk mengkaji kesan makronutrien/nitrogen ke atas pertumbuhan pokok ) 1 m

i. Put a maize seedling into test tube labeled A and B. //Diagram(Masukkan anak benih ke dalam tabung uji berlabel A dan B // Rajah)

ii. Wrap each test tube with black paper. // Diagram (Balutkan tabung uji dengan kertas hitam // rajah )

iii. Fill test tube A with Knop culture solution and test tube B with culture solution without nitrogen. // Diagram(Isikan tabung uji A dengan larutan kultur Knop dan tabung uji B dengan larutan kultur tanpa nitrogen // rajah )

iv. Leave test tube A and B near a window ( to obtain enough sunlight )(Letakkan tabung uji A dan B berdekatan dengan tingkap.)

v. After a week, replace the same solution for each test tube.(Selepas satu minggu, gantikan larutan yang sama bagi setiap tabung uji.)

vi. Observe and record the growth of each seedling.(Perhatikandan rekod pertumbuhan setiap anak benih )(any four) 4 m
