High value items Document (SIT) is raised twice by taking the same print again and drawing high value material twice (Control Valve,copper washer,aluminium housing). This has been highlighted to SAP core team for SAP program modification so that print can be taken only one time. Made further strengthening by posting document in SAP before giving material (ready for moving to

production) so that even duplicate document comes, system will not accept again.

Computerization of Oil Management System for effective Oil & Coolant usage there by cost reduction and based on production plan oil requirement will come

Packing Standard enforcing for items which is coming in Non-standard packing for easy accounting 3C 5S

Performance appraisal computerization. All data entered in system for all Non-Supervisory employees , so

that the appraisal for next year can be filled easily by keeping previous record as ready reference.

Core Competency data maintained from Junior Engineer to Senior Engineer in database then will serve as a ready reckoner to manager to fit them in respective positions for effective utilization.

Automatic shift roster balancing with skill for all employees done.

Manpower attendance Control (Short Term Trainees) tightened by various means such as print out cell wise report of punching details to line supervisor to check their physical presence and making a fool proof stamp to mark attendance in shift roster.

Automatic Packing material planning made based on production plan, when plan is entered the packing material is calculated based on BOM and shortage / Order to raise will come automatically and only moving material 3 months average is also created o feel the pulse.

CHEP packing materials planning made automatic based on stock. High value items daily stock reporting breakup introduced for

more clarity. Wooden boxes planning made automatic OLE worked out to know operator performance Precise planning to send materials by Road thereby reducing

logistics cost. Framing out location system for stores items and codification of

items. Implemented a motivation factor scheme for operators thru giving

pens for achieving the standard of production with a certificate of appreciation from senior management and the same is displayed in board for everyone viewing.

Made a check sheet programming MRP Vs Actual receipt of materials so that no material is coming excess into the factory other than MRP , in excel sheet status will show automatically Don’t allow.

Introduced SIT tracking register to find duplicate SIT thru Excel function and will serve as a follow up backup

Introduced following up tracking sheet for each and every activity of pending works.

Gauge management system , so that duplication of ordering of gauges is avoided and precise tracking.

Legal metrology stamping of all weighing machines in factory Shift roster for 2000 employees and attendance better control
