Seoul – Kuala Lumpur It was the last day of our programME. 10 days of life surely a bit long for us to live during our common daily life, but there, it felt like just a moment. Despite of the cold, walking all day long without stop, even though the tight schedule really drove us exhausted, there was no single moment we felt burden. We enjoyed the trip. But, the time will surely sent us back home. It was really sad. That day, there was no particular event held except packing our stuff and be ready to catch our flight scheduled at 8.45 in the morning. Early at 4.30am, everyone has gathered outside the guesthouse. It was so cold at -13 degree in temperature and nobody did not shivering. Sadness start to flow into our heart when leaving our shelter, place where we were bound as family, stayed up night chatting, cooked meals together, and lots of unforgettable memory, dancing, singing, and laughing. But, life must go on. We have to get back to our life. FAUZI DAY 12

Seoul – Kuala Lumpur

It was the last day of our programME.

At 5.00am, we started to move to Hongik University Station to get a train to Incheon International Airport (IIA). We were accompanied by Brother Ammar Syahrin, the travel guide. After about an hour, we arrived at IIA and there, we part with Brother Ammar after we checked in our luggage, as he had other job to do.

We arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 2.00pm Malaysia time, after 6hours on plane.

Upon arriving, I heard the pilot on duty said that the temperature in Kuala Lumpur at that time was 31 degree Celsius. We started to sweat! Just early in the morning we were in the temperature of -13 degree, now it was 31 degree Celsius. Nice figure though. Anyhow, we collected our luggage accordingly. One member, Khuzaimah did not come out off the airport as she transferred to another airline to continue her journey to Singapore, her country home.

We parted at the arrival area. Nasya took cab to her home; Jasmine waited for her father to fetch her; Syuhada followed Jasmine as Jasmine offered to drop her by the nearest KTM station. The rest of the members were waiting for IIUM bus to pick them up. It took about an hour waiting for IIUM bus which arrived at 4.00pm. Hazman requested for the bus driver to drop him by TBS. Later, few other members also opted to part together. Izzah, Faris, Iman and me follow Hazman went off at TBS. Other members arrived at IIUM compound at 6.00pm.

SIDE STORY

It is called Murtabak Maggi. I don’t really know what other people named it but that was what Bella told me. Back during my school time, I wonder what my colleague called it; Pizza Maggi is it?. Well, it does not matter what it is called; instead I just want to share the story of Murtabak Maggi (might not be interesting, though).

Travelling around the globe will cost a lot of money, as food is a necessity. Therefore, bringing our local food might come in handy to reduce the budget. Simply put that Maggi is one of the brightest choice but it should not be taken regularly. What is the point of Murtabak Maggi? Well, it’s nothing much but I just want to brag that I’m the one who made it! (see the photo-but Bella claimed the credit. LOL!).

It was Bella the one who was asking me about making this meal. She really wanted to know how to make it and wanted to learn. As I have experience making this as I learned it during Canteen Day at my school, I promised to teach her. Easy enough, it only took 5 minutes to prepare it. Firstly, soften the mee in hot boiled water for few minutes but should not let it to be too soft. Secondly, break 2 eggs in a bowl and add ¾ of the Maggi seasoning in it and stir it together. Thirdly, rut a small spoon of oil on a pan and transfer the soften mee on it. Then, shape the mee so it will not flatten. Next, pour egg little by little, turn the mee around for few times and wait until it yellowish in colour. Then it is done! Quick and tasty. That’s the entire story. (Told you this is not interesting at all!).

By the way, this picture is taken from Brother Ammar’s facebook. The picture was snapped by him after Bella presented this self-claim-her-making meal to him. Bella’s love was presented in the warmness of the heart-shaped Murtabak Maggi. ^_^

At this time, I hope that this shelter is equipped with an automatic camera to snap memorable pictures of us as we hanging out together around the living room at night. It was just nice for us to spent time together. Without much trouble and we were in a good relation. Being with Big Mama (Mrs. Nani), and other 13 siblings really made me happy. Self-claimed the eldest sibling, Jasmine, Nasya and Hazman; photo posing freak, Zyma; the ambassador, Syikin and Izzah; twin brothers yet with different mindsets, Iman and Faris; the ‘Morea’, Zara; twin boot-sisters, Bella and Jannah; the MRC, Chun; and the little, tiny, small yet always sleepy youngest sister, Teha. This is our family.

Well, that’s the end of our journey. Memorable days which never be forgotten. Love to hang around at night at Stay Korea. Lovely guys, indeed.
