Our new dispersive IR units. More room for the right choice. You'll make the best choice when you have the widest choice. Besides the fastest FT/IP, unit available today, Perkin-Elmer lets you choose from a variety of dispersive IR instruments, including two important new models. Like all Perkin-Elmer instruments, they embody our Computer Aided Chemistry con­cept, with their microprocessor control opening the way to further laboratory automation for massive gains in productivity.

The top of the line. The Model 983 is our best disper­sive IR. It's a high-performance, research-grade unit with an abscissa range from 5000 c m - 1

to 180 c m - ' . Data handling capability is built in. The integral CRT has soft keys for operating simplicity. Spectral storage is also built in, and the system includes a high-speed printer-plotter.

Other choices. The new Model 1400 Series instruments are low cost ratio-recording units with ordinate expansion up to 100X. Our 1300 Series puts quality instrumenta­tion within reach of the most austere budgets. All models can interface with the Data Station for automated operation.
