photography firm which providesservices for advertising companies.

His daily activites involves being inthe meeting room to talk with his

clients and the photography studio,an occasional smoke outside to

relax and hang out.

Design Synthesis

Statement

To create a different filters of light to

create a sense of privacy, using naturaland artificial light.

Not only an unique thing, but also has a function,

this kind of shade gives a sort of privacy within the site,

the clients needs are to have an inspirational space

which is a meeting room, that doesnt matter if it is open

or closed space, but has a sort of privacy to it. Based on

the observation that we did on the vegetation, there are

a sort of closure to the site, and an opening depending

upon the density of the vegetation. There are a place

within the which has a dense amount of trees, and thereare some which dont have that many. This particular

picture is taken within this spotfrom the site, which has

good qualities to create a meeting room, shades from

the sun, filters the heat and comfortable temperature

due to the greeneries and the body of water near the

site. The meeting room needs some sort of internet

connection or wifi, so another reason why we chose this

site is that it is located in the center part of the campus,

near the rectorate area.

The open space of the site is where

there are less dense vegetation, aspace where Sony can relax enjoying

the outdoors which has less shades,for hanging out looking to the lake.

This space can also be a spot where totake an outdoor picture

A combination of light with vegetation creates a

dramatic scene such as for photography, or to paint on.

The vegetation creates something like a funnel, tochannel and filter the source of light, and in some places

which has an opening from the vegetation, creates anemphasis due to the contrast of the light source from the

opening from the vegetation to let light in, and closure

from the vegetation to keep the light out.

The way I put the two building has references to the design synthesis

from the different vegetations of the site,

the meeting room is put on an angle to let the sun path in

the way and the wind to go through the structure

This Structural section shows the overall structure of the two buildings.The combination of the concrete slab and steel construction for the meeting room and the studio.
