group with four core business divisions namely – Expressways, Township & Property Development, Engineering & Construction, and Asset & Facility Management. UEM Group has completed infrastructure, transportation and building projects in Malaysia totaling more than USD8.4 billion since 1988 and involved in several key national projects such as klia2 airport, MRT Corp.’s MY Rapid Transit Viaduct Package V8 and Package S3 and the 600-bedded, 12-storey Women and Children Hospital. Our Township & Property Development flagship company, UEM Sunrise Berhad is the master developer of Nusajaya, a key flagship zone of Iskandar Malaysia and whose presence extends into Singapore, Australia, Canada and Durban in South Africa. Beyond the borders of Malaysia, we are undertaking several construction projects including the Jetpur-Somnath Highway in India, the 116-kilometre Cikampek-Palimanan Expressway in West Java, Indonesia, property development projects in Canada and Australia and the construction of 4,000 units a�ordable houses for the National Housing Scheme of Brunei Darussalam. We operate via 20 major operating companies, 3 of which are listed on local and international bourses, and we have human resource of more than 15,000 including 2,500 technical professionals.
