In addition, Kuala Lumpur is home to the tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Towers, which have become an iconic symbol of Malaysia's futuristic developments.

The National Sports Complex or Kompleks Sukan Negara in Malaysia is the largest sports complex in the country. It is located in Bukit Jalil, 20 km south of Kuala Lumpur. Described as the "sports complex in a park", it is the only one of its kind in the country or region when it was fully developed it was officially innaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia's Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1 January 1998 based in 1998 Commonwealth Games it was officialy opening ceremonies.

BASKETBALL ARENA

The Indoor arena is located in the Olympic park.The stadium was constructed for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The stadium opened will its doors on November 26, 2023 for the artistic Gymnastics test event.at 2024 Olympics, it hosted the Artistic Gymnastics, and Handball events. After the Olympics, the stadium can be used for sports competition, cultural and entertaining purposes, and will serve as a multi-functional exercise center for local residents.The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 people.


The Basketball Arena for the 2024Summer Olympics and the 2024 Summer Paralympics is located in the Olympic Park.The Basketball Arena has 12,000 seats for Olympic basketball and the semi-finals and finals of the Olympic handball, and 10,000 for Paralympic wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. The arena was also used as a holding area for athletes during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the games.

A 156 km long Mass Rapid Transit system will be built within 20 km radius from the city center under the 10th Malaysia Plan and Economic Transformation program.
