Maintaining Lead: Assuming we win all three bases, each base will have a DPS, and Healer, extra DPS

will wait in center for incomings to be called, a Death Knight should be in this group for path of frost.

Group 4 will attempt to ninja either Farm or Mine, preferably farm.

Getting Lead: If we lose at Blacksmith/Lumber Mill then we will send two stealthies to Farm, and rush

the base that we lost at with a four man group, both the stealthies and the main attack group need to

    arrive at the same time.

Maintaining Lead: It is very important that we hold two bases to start the battleground, the

deciding factor of the BG is who starts out with the most bases. Assuming we capture

Waterworks and hold Lighthouse, Group 3 will move from Water works to the middle area, if

Light House gets attacked they will reinforce, however if more than seven enemies attack

light house Group 3 will move to Mines. Group 4 will stay at Mines to call out incomings andallow reaction time, if they leave Mines to zerg one of our bases Group 4 will ninja capture

the mines. Light House and Water Works will both have one healer and two DPS.

Getting the Flag: Group 1 will be running the flag, we need two healers in this group, as they

have the most important job, they will take the ramp to the flag. Groups 2 and 3 will be the

attacking force, used to get the opposing team on different resurrection timers and to

separate them at the start of the game.

Capturing the Flag: After Group 1 has the flag, take the horde tunnel out, and go up our

tunnel and onto the roof. Stay together at all times. Group 2 will be CCing and separating

their flag team, and killing who they can to get them on the separate resurrection timers.

They will then attack the flag carrier, chain CC the healer(s) that are with the flag carrier, then

Sub Rogue will drop smoke bomb on flag carrier, ALL DPS must switch to flag carrier and nukehis health. Group 3 will be used to reinforce our flag carrier if need, and only in big incomings.

    Healer Rogue/Druid Balance Druid/Elemental Shaman/Warlock /w Succubus

Initial Attack: Eye of the Storm is now a ten man Rated Battleground, with this change the flags

are now capped like they are in Arathi Basin, so you have to click on the flag to cap it. Group 1

is going to Mage Tower, call incomings and hold it as long as possible. Group 2 is going to

Draenei Ruins, keep an eye on BGTargets and call out in vent if you have any incomings.

Group 3 is going to Mage Tower, there may be a zerg coming across the bridge, call this out

and head back to Draenei Ruins to assist Group 2. Group 4 is going to the middle to grab the

    flag.

    10/11

Maintaining the Lead: We should now have three bases, or two bases and the flag, if we did

not hold onto one of our bases, reinforce the two we have. Group 4, once you have the flag

head back to Draenei Ruins DO NOT CAP THE FLAG, if you wipe reinforce Draenei Ruins. All

other groups stay put, if they sent a group to the middle and not to our bases we should have

three bases and three bases beats one base running the flag, an assist team from Draenei

Ruins will be assigned to help our other bases. If we have two bases, that means theyprobably did not send a team to the middle, we will hold the flag until the end then capture it

    for the winning points

Requirements: Assist Macros to whoever in your group is calling targets Battleground Targets addon, needed to see who they have and who

    everyone is targeting

Ventrilo; communication is the most important aspect to a winninggroup. Target callers and Battleground leaders need to havemicrophones. Vent silence starts as soon as the queue pops. Only needed

communication is said over vent from then on.

Gear, if you are not gear capped please focus on gearing, ask in OOC chatto group up, or ask for an arena partner to get conquest points.

Know your role, if you play a straight DPS class and are not appointed tocall targets then listen to the target caller and attack what is called out. If

you are a class with a lot of CCs, cast them on your targets then move

back to the appointed target. Healers, call out when you need help or

people to CC the person attacking you. Understand that if Vent gets

clogged up with people talking then the target callers cannot be heardand the team will suffer, please only use vent for communication that is

needed to increase our chances of winning.

Listening, these strategies are all pulled from 2200+ rated battlegroundteams, they may not always work but they will give us a good chance

    assuming everyone works together.

Patience, we have several members that have not run RatedBattlegrounds on a regular basis. Understand that we are here to have

fun and that people cannot get better unless we work as a team.

Be able to listen to tips and advice, if someone offers you a tip about howyou may be able to improve do not get offended they are just being agood guild mate and trying to help you improve. No one will attack you

personally all suggestions are constructive to help our team.

Suggestions: Spy is an addon that will tell you what horde are close and when a

stealthed enemy comes into your area.

Focus macros are useful for attacking more than one target or keepingCCs on a healer or DPS

Youtube some RBG tactics and listen to how players get their 2200ratings a lot of them will give some good tips about how to play and what

to look for when in a Rated Battleground.
