významných sklářských výtvarníků a mistrů sklárny Moser.
Jedinečný design, barevnost, řemeslná dovednost, tradiční
techniky a umělecká práce jsou hlavními znaky unikátních děl
připravených pro letošní rok. V roce 1878 získal Ludwig Moser
rakousko-uherské privilegium za zvláštní způsob výzdoby
výrobků reliéfními emailovými barvami a zlatem. S velkým
rozechvěním vám představuji uměleckou kolekci inspirovanou
motivy sklárny Moser z let 1880 - 1885. Všechna tato díla patří
k vrcholům umělecké malby na sklo. Současně v letošním roce
slavíme i 120. výročí vzniku nápojového souboru Maharani,
který vyniká bohatě rytými květinovými motivy a jemnými
zlacenými dekory. Věřím, že nově vytvořená váza a mísa budou
vhodně doplňovat tuto znamenitou soupravu.
Nechť vám křišťálová díla Moser přináší krásu a potěšení!
it is an honour for me to be able to introduce the new
art collection DESIGN MOSER 2015. It is the result of collabora-
tion from many important glass artists and masters from the
Moser glassworks. The main traits of the unique works prepared
for this year are unique designs, rich colours, craftsmanship,
traditional techniques and beautiful artwork. In 1878 Ludwig
Moser obtained an Austro-Hungarian privilege for a special type
of decoration using relief enamel colours and gold. With great
excitement I present you an art collection inspired by Moser
Glassworks motives from 1880 - 1885. All of these works are
masterpieces of artistic painting on glass. At the same time we’re
celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Maharani drinks set,
which stands out with its richly engraved floral motives and
delicate gilded decorations. I firmly believe that the newly
created vase and bowl will aptly complement this exquisite set.
May your Moser crystal bring you great beauty and pleasure!

Jsme básníci našeho umění. Ve světě, kde se propojuje
tradice se současností a dokonalost s originalitou,
vytváříme díla, která si troufale svou krásou říkají o vaši
pozornost. Díla, která ilustrují naše osobní příběhy
neobyčejnými barvami a letitou zkušeností s vytříbeným
rukopisem řemesla. Řemesla, které přetváří žhavou
sklovinu do křišťálové fantazie, poezie našeho života, který
We’re the poets of our craft. In a world where tradition
is combined with the present and originality with perfection,
we create works that boldly grab your attention with
their beauty. Works that illustrate our personal stories in
exceptional colours and venerable experience with the refined
style of our craftsmanship. A craft that transforms red-hot
molten glass into a crystal fantasy, the poetry of our life that
aims to bring joy and extraordinary experiences into your life.

Sweetness which delights. A chocolate diamond-cut jewel hidden inside
a crystal jewel box waits for the day, on which it is forever free. A coat
hand-sewn from enchanting mesh casts a spell with our imagination
and plays with a unique gem, a small cherry, which is our extraordinary
decoration.

Ztracený v bublinách hledám svou cestu. jedna za druhou unikají vzhůru a místo nich vznikají další a další. každá má jiný tvar, jinou hloubku, ani jedna není stejná, všechny dohromady tvoří pohádkové zrcadlo. dívám se dovnitř, ale nalézám sebe, jen sebe.
Lost in the bubbles, I’m looking for my way. One after another they are escaping upward while more and more are taking their place. Each has a different shape, different depth, none of them are the same, altogether they form a fairytale-like mirror. I look inside, but I find myself, just myself.

It combines two sides, two different worlds seeking a path to one another. It is a strong bond of friendship that never betrays and is eternal. The bridge is an erect arc over the abyss and points the path we must take to avoid loneliness.

The distinct contrast between the deep groove of the cutting disc and the subtle colour combination
of green, blue and violet tones wakes our senses. One pebble joins with another and cares not for their differences. Together they form an optical
game between dream and reality.

Poetry, it combines shape, perfect cuts and unique colour combinations. Just as a writer writes poetic lines full of stories, the artist fills them with illustrations - the playful grooves and arches on the edge of a vase bringing pleasure to the world.
v dokonalé souhře autoro-vých představ a řemeslných

Perfect precision and clear geometry dominate the cut vase

A big thing for me is the interaction of optical structures when they intertwine, the effects that arise fascinate me. The linear structures cut into the slightly convex sides of the vase conduct both light and colour, because they have a different angle on each side they create interference patterns that multiply and create ever-changing forms. Design - even if simple and quite regular - constantly transforms before one’s eyes and creates the impression of infinite motion.

Setkávání těchto antagonismů mi připadá vzrušivé a znepokojující.
The meeting of soft and sharp, i.e. hard, shapes has been appearing in my work for a long time. I created a sort of series of furniture and clothing. It even appeared in my drawings and paintings, but not as much as in the design. I find the meeting of these antagonists to be both exciting and disturbing. I am convinced that an object with such a disturbing design brings a subtle tension to an interior, making it magical. Magical interiors can inspire us to unconventional acts. There is too much convention in this world, so gentle departures are necessary and beautiful.

contemporary art, including design, is often inspired by itself, i.e. by what has already appeared and been used. My inspiration comes from the environment around me. I create unusual statues of the world I know and, consequently vases or other objects that resemble natural formations, but also manmade objects, appear in my designs. In a world awash with the habitual, dressed in the uniform of convention, I strive to bring a delicate protest of form. It’s something like a greeting from an unknown land.

Vedle rytiny
je další mistrovskou dekorativní technikou Moseru umělecká malba.
V roce 1878 získal Ludwig Moser rakousko-uherské privilegium "za zvláštní
způsob výzdoby reliéfními emailovými barvami a zlatem, který vynalezl“.
Díky tomu, že sklárna pečlivě uchovává dědictví “starých mistrů” a díky
touze mladé generace rozvíjet um svých předků, nás mohou těšit naprosto
ojedinělá díla i ve 21. století. Autorem ručně malovaných děl nové kolekce
“Design Moser 2015” je výtvarník - malíř skla Jan Janecký.
To select and ‘reanimate’ several historical masterpieces in each new collection -
that has been the Moser Glassworks’ plan for several years now. Besides engravings
another of Moser’s masterful techniques is artistic painting. In 1878 Ludwig Moser
obtained an Austro-Hungarian privilege ‘for the special manner of decoration using
relief enamel paints and gold, that he invented’. Thanks to this the glassworks has
carefully kept the heritage of the ‘old masters’ and thanks to the young generation’s
desire to develop the skill of their predecessors, we can also look forward to
absolutely unique works in the 21st century. The author of the works in the new
hand-painted ‘Design Moser 2015’ collection is glass artist-painter Jan Janecký.

Lidem byl dán do vínku velký dar, dar vnímat
krásu. Zas a znovu, celá pokolení, žasneme nad
krásou, která byla stvořena - krása přírody. Ta
generace rytců vkládají do svých skleněných
obrazů svou fantasii a své představy. Jedno ale
mají společné - úctu k životu a lásku k přírodě,
které ztvárňují ve svých dílech.
People were endowed with a great gift, the gift
of perceiving beauty. Over and over again, generations
at a time, we wonder at the beauty that has been created
- the beauty of nature. It is an eternal inspiration for us.
We also admire beauty that has been created by human
beings. An entire generation of engravers endow their
glass paintings with their imagination and ideas. But one
thing they all have in common - a respect for life and
a love of nature, which is reflected in their work.

a opravdovostí. Takové je umění moserovských ryt-
ců, nejlepších rytců křišťálu na světě.
Pictures in the glass – these are the artistic Moser engravings. But they
were not created by a painter with a brush, but a master engraver with
several engraving disks. Depending on the difficulty of the subject, the
master engraver might spend several months working on an engrav-
ing. The detailed engraving of themes taken from famous paintings,
ornamental motifs, figural scenes or compositions based on the world
of flora and fauna developing over entire surfaces are distinguished by
their vitality and realism. This is the art of Moser engravers, the best
crystal engravers in the world.

brusičů, rytců a malířů sklárny. své jméno - maharani - a s ním i popularitu,
The 1890’s was an important period in the artistic development of Moser.
The construction of its glassworks made it possible to react promptly to
new impetuses and significantly enrich modern style trends with its own
original creations. In 1895 the Moser Glassworks first introduced a new
drinks collection, which is still a valuable document of the craftsmanship of
its cutters, engravers and painters. It gained its name - Maharani - and with
it its popularity, after the Maharajah of Navacorne had it made for his wife.
The simple shape of the glasses with a delicate floral engraving is reminiscent
of light muslin. The hexagonal stem has regular edges cut-out with a pearl
grindstone; moreover, the stem’s edge and facets are highlighted by a hand-
painted gold line. The crown is decorated with leaves in a garland. The fine
engraving of flower clumps on the goblet and the ornamental strip with a
gold line on the rim gives this famous set its distinctive elegance.
