-Despite achievement in providing various segment of housing

6. Deprived in living standard -

Unmet specific needs of

vulnerable groups and gaps in

access to urban services

•Overcrowded household - average household

size for lower middle income = 4 but about 30%

of them living in 1 to 2 bedroom with

unconducive environment & lacking facilities

(deprived in room density – 24.9%, 14.5% urban,

10.1% rural).

•Most of the poor, low and lower middle income

houses located in the suburbs - lack of

convenient and reliable public transportation.

•Inaccessible to Health services (Deprivation-

overall 25.5%, urban 14.5%, rural 12.3%) social

services for the elderly and disabled and school

children. (Deprivation garbage collection-urban

7.1%).
