Causes of Stress:
1. Do you have a family problems with your parents and partners?

Figure 1 show the result about does having a family problems with parents and
partners will causes stress among student teachers in Gaya Teacher Training Institution,
Sabah. Generally, most of the student teachers are facing problems from family and
partner.
Based on Figure 1, among 30 respondents, 16 out of 30 respondents agree that
stress is caused by having family problems and partners. It is because they feel stress
about the expectation of their family and partner. Having a relationship too will give
them stress when their partner do not consider their situation.Besides that, 14
respondents do not think family and partners will bring stress to them as they are having
a harmonic relationships.
In conclusion, most of the respondents are facing problems from family and
partner that lead them to stress.
2. Do you facing peer pressure?

Figure 2 showed the pie chart about whether student teachers in Gaya Teacher
Teaching Institution, Kota Kinabalu are facing peer pressure or not. Generally, there are
a small amount of student teachers are facing peer pressure.
Based on Figure 2, we can see that 30% of the respondents are having peer
pressure problems. Some student teachers may have been bully or been forced to do
something that they do not want. So, this lead them to stress because of the bad peer
pressure. Meanwhile, 70% respondents do not facing peer pressure.
In conclusion, we can say that stress among student teachers are not cause by
peer pressure.
3. Do you have enough money to spend in your daily life?

Figure 3 shown the frequency of student teachers who agree that they have enough
money to spend in their daily life. We can see that most of the student teachers have enough
money to spend in their life.
By observing Figure 3, there is increase number of student teachers who agree that they
have enough money to spend that the number of student teachers that do not have enough
money to spend. 20 student teachers agree that they have enough money to spend daily
throughout the semesters. It show that nowadays student teachers know the value of money
and they learnt to save money. Besides that, there got only 10 respondents who are facing a
financial problems which may probably overspend out of budgets.
Conclusion, we can say there is small number of respondents are facing financial
problems.
4. Aren’t you facing insomnia during most of the night?

Figure 4 shows the frequency of student teachers whether they are having
insomnia during the night. Generally, most of the respondents can sleep soundly at
night.
In Figure 4, we can see that there are 17 out of 30 respondents are not having
insomnia during night which meant that stress may not probably cause insomnia to
them. The line graph in Figure 4 show a tremendous decrease for the number of
respondents who are facing insomnia during night due to stress. Most of them may
probably having a higher level of stress.
In a nutshell, stress do not bring insomnia effect to the student teachers.
5. Do you feel anxious and do not have confident in your daily life?

Figure 5 shows the frequency and percentage frequency of 30 student teachers
in the effect of stress which is did they feel anxious and do not have confident in their
daily life. Generally, there is a noticeably changes in the trend of figure 5.
In Figure 5, it is clearly shows that more than half of the respondents feel anxious
and lack of confident which is 16 respondents (53.00%) out of 30 respondents. This
shows that stress has giving them phychological problems which effect their daily life.
Furthermore, the trend of bar charts and line graph show a plummet as 14 respondents
(47.00%) do not feel anxious and have confident in their life.
As a conclusion, more than half of students are having anxiousness and lack of
confident in their life.
6. Do you face a serious depression and mood swing towards your surrounding people?

Figure 6 shows frequency and the percentage frequency about depression and
mood swing towards surrounding people. Generally, the bar charts are levelled out for
student teachers who are facing depression and do not facing depression.
It is obviously shown that the frequency for the respondents who faced a serious
depression and mood swing towards surrounding people is the same as the frequency of
respondents who do not have a serious depression and mood swing towards
surrounding people which is 15 respondents out of 30 respondents. Each percentage
frequency of the both cases are the same, which is 50.00%.
In conclusion, 15 respondents are facing serious depression and mood swing
towards surrounding people while the other half respondents do not.
7. Do you think that going to do some sport is a way to release tension?

Figure 7 shows the percentage of the student teachers who do some sport to release
stress. Generally, most of the respondents release stress by doing some sports.
Based on Figure 7, it shows that 70.00% which means 21 respondents think that doing
sports as a way for them to release stress. It is because they will focus on sports on a short
time when they are doing some exercise that will relax their mind from hectic life. Next, 30.00%
of respondents which means 9 respondents do think that doing sports is not a way to release
stress for them.
Conclusion, doing sports is an effective way to release tension as major respondents
did.
8. Listening music is good in releasing stress.

Figure 8 shows frequency of student teachers’ opinion about listening music is good in
releasing stress. Generally, most of the respondents think that listening music can help in
release stress.
It is shown that 24 respondents are listening to music as a way in releasing stress which
give a major percentage 80.00%. It is because music is categorized to different genres which
can be chosen based on individual’s interest. Meanwhile, there are 6 respondents do not agree
listening music will release stress.
The conclusion is listening music is a way to release stress among student teachers.
9. Will you go to find a counselor to talk about your problems?

shows
frequency and percentage frequency for student teachers who meet a counselor to talk about
their problems. Generally, most of respondents will meet counselor.
There are 21 respondents will talk about their problems with counselor and the
percentage frequency is 70%. They will seek for an useful advices to help them to overcome
any obstacles in life. Besides that, only 9 respondents will not seek for counselor because they
trust their family or friends as a place for them to share problems.
In conclusion, most respondents will share their problems with counselor.
