PREFACE
(A) CRITERIA ADOPTED FOR PREPARATION OF LG8R FOR
2016-17:
i. MUs figures in respect of Generators have been taken from G n ration target
fixed by CEA/MoP. However, actual generation may be I wer due to
commercial reasons, such as low schedule, RSD etc.
ii. RES & small hydro generation have been taken from State ut Ii ies BOTH IN
mw & muS
iii. Bilateral Power purchase by State utilities have been consider as furnished
by State utilities viz. Demand, power cut etc.
IV. Demand in MW & requirements in MUs figures have been tak n from State
utilities.
v. URS of station (NTPC and other ISGS stations) have not b n considered
and vary as per requirement of various utilities in real time.
vi. RGPPL allocation to Indian Railways have been considered i he respective
state as per allocations.
(8) Major deviations w.r.t. last year have been observed in M hya Pradesh
data for which SLDC MP furnished following reasons:
The reasons for discrepancy in projection for the Year 2016-17 wrt 2015-
16 is given below :-1. The Feeder Separation work of Domestic and irrigation fe er in MP was
started in the Year 2012-13 and was expected to be compl ed in the year
2015-16. Accordingly MP Discom has assumed that after f e er separation
work the demand shall increase and during rabi season it wa ,xpected in the
range of 12500 MW in 2016-17. Whereas the actual maxim rh demand met
during the year 2015-16 was 10800 MW and accordingly
projected their demand as per actual demand met during the
2. Some IPP i.e JSTPPS(Nigri), M B Power, JPL(Jhabua pow r commissioned
during the year 2015-16. Availability increased in MP.
3. Hydel target as per CEA have been considered which is les . s compared to
hydel availability submitted by MPPGCL.
(G) Major deviations w.r.t. last year have been observed in Gh ttishgarh
data for which SLOG Ghhattishgarh furnished following re s ns:
1. Chhattishgarh availability increased due to Marwa(2x TPS
commissioned.2. Some IPP viz. RKM, Balco, KWPCL etc have commissione
state share(7%) added in Chhattishgarh availability.
3. Demand is also likely to be increased because of develop
Raipur, Smart city etc.
their Home
(0) Major deviations w.r.t. last year have been observed in Gu' rat data for
which SLOG Gujarat furnished following reasons:
1. Gujarat availability increased due to expected gas availabil t at Sugen &
Dgen.2. Demand is also likely to be increased because of ind trialisation &
developments like Gift City, Smart city etc.
(E) Major deviations w.r.t. last year have been observed in Ma rashtra data
for which SLOG Maharashtra furnished following reasons:
1. Maharashtra availability increased due to commissioning of u it at Bhusawal,
Kordi & Chandrapur extension.2. RES generation is likely to be more significa t than last year.
3. Demand is also increased due to urbanisation etc.
