This study includes baseline information about the generation and existing management of food wastes in the study particularly from the eateries, markets, supermarket etc.
Biogas Plant will be constructed after study on food waste plan has been carried out

Actions

• Setting up the 50 Pasar Komuniti with regards to site identification, refurbishment, discussions with market trader
•Assisting the KPDNKK, FAMA and JKT to suggest suitable sites
Current status
Objective •To transform various markets such as Pasar Tani, Pasar Malam, Pasar Minggu into one called Pasar Komuniti.
•To coordinate the various markets and amalgamate them into location where conditions are conducive
• Bangunan Pasar Sehari at Jerantut was chosen to be a pilot project for Pasar Komuniti
• The pilot project is planned to start in March 2011
