INTRODUCTIONThe increasing capabilities of magnetic resonance (MR) studies to impact medical diagnosis and prognosis has dramatically incre-ased the number of MR procedures performed worldwide. Many more patients, especially those in high-risk or special populationgroups, are undergoing MR examinations for an ever-widening spectrum of medical indications.

For this reason Radioprotex s.r.l., a company that is highly specialized in radioprotection and that has earned a great experiencein Resonance Magnetic Imaging, has developed and manufactured a new range of basic patient management accessories andequipment for MR environments, all manufactured with high quality materials, such as stainless steel AISI 316. All ourequipment meets the strictest requirements for use in imaging facilities including the new high-eld 3 Tesla MRI systems, in orderto ensure the maximum safety both for patients and operators in MR environments and help to create a more efcient and moreprotable MR center.

M.R. stretcher

Completely non magnetic adjustable height stretcher, made of aluminum and stainless steel, for a fully safe use in MR departments up to 3 Tesla.

This stretcher is very easy to manouvre and well suited to tight spaces. The height is adjustable from 540 mm up to 920 mm. A lifting system with double

pantograph hydraulic pistons and double pedals makes this stretcher simple to use both from the left hand and the right hand side.

The stretcher is equipped with a comfortable mattress and four swivel casters, all with stationary brake. The stretcher also has 4 rubber bumpers at the cor-ners.

Adjustable backrest and side rails, equipped with safety locks. On the top side of the stretcher it is possible to hook up a drip pole on both the left hand side

and the right hand side..

Non magnetic wheelchair

AISI 316 tubular stainless steel non-magnetic wheelchair. Padded, wide seat and comfortable backrest. Four 80mm non magnetic castors, the two back oneshave a stationary brake. On either armrest it is possible to hook up a drip pole for the drip.

Non-magnetic 5 kg CO2 re extinguisher, fully non magnetic.

It complies with the Directive 97/23/EC on pressure equipment

and European Standard EN 3.

This antimagnetic extinguisher is used especially to protect elec-

tronic equipment in areas where sensitive measuring and scan-

ning equipment is located (hospitals). The range is also suitable

for extinguishing burning liquid (class B res).

Multi purpose anesthetics trolleyNon magnetic extinguisher

Useful to store MR tools and instruments, this kind of cart is

useful to store objects and instruments in MRI rooms. Built en-

tirely in AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel, and equipped with four

totally non magnetic castors.

It can have four or six sliding drawers, placed on the left side,made of AISI 304 stainless steel , sliding on stainless steel guides

with mechanical block. On the right there is a vertical storage

Non magnetic sphygmomanometer

The sphygmomanometer for Magnetic Resonance, designed to be totally non-magnetic, features

a modern and functional design completed with an accurate gauge of high quality. The device

is easy to use and easy to handle, ensuring a high durability. The absence of latex, avoids the

potential allergies and the structure is made of shock-absorbing material.

The presence of a micro lter protects the valve and the large insufator and can be positioned

at both right and left. The blood pressure monitor is not with mercury and comes with adult

cuff. This device is available on request with other bracelets measures for infants, children and

adolescents.
