About Free Tree Society. We are an environmental organisation that spreads the environmental stewardship message through giving away trees for free to green our Earth. Since 2013, we have given away over 30,000 plants to homeowners, schools, marginalized groups, community gardens and wildlife habitats to encourage biodiversity and to promote a love of nature.

Free Tree Society also advocates for the implementation of United Nations instruments and global goals on environmental issues, sustainable development, climate change, and responsible consumption and production.

We are a non-profit environmental civil society registered with the Registrar of Societies as Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur (PPM-010-14-21052012).

From our stunning flagship nursery in Bangsar, to hosting corporate workshops and talks, to creating the world’s first environmental awareness truck and mobile nursery, to curating volunteering programs that educate and engage, plus so much more, our goal is to engage and educate the public on sustainability, uphold the importance of conserving our environment, plant more trees and save our planet.

FTS @ BangsarOur flagship nursery! Since 2013, we’ve

grown an oasis in the city to inspire! A lush outdoor classroom, potting shed, edible

garden, eco-stations for recycling, composting, & harvesting rainwater,

wildlife habitats, and more; bonding with nature made easy.

Giveaway DaysPopular and well-attended Giveaway Days are hosted throughout the year in conjunction with

environmental events. Thousands of #freetrees are given away at the nursery and community events. The free tree is the lure,

educating people and greening the environment is the goal!

Volunteering ProgrammeMake corporate social responsibility an experiential thing for your employees -

experience by partaking in an environmental activity.

FTS On-the-GoA world first mobile environmental

outreach vehicle aimed at schools. We run specially crafted educational programmes

built on conservation goals, community involvement, and the sharing of

knowledge. Our specially designed truck takes mentors and resources straight to

teachers and students.

Youth ProgrammeOur youth group membership is growing with

the delivery of educational workshops targeting schools & universities via FTS On-the-Go. Investing in environmental education for our youths lays a strong

foundation for the future wellbeing of our planet.

Climate Reality FTS President Baida Hercus is a

certified climate leader under Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. Allow

us to present the latest science, impacts and solutions in a thought-provoking

talk tailored to suit any audience.
