ENGINE SHOP

• Doing the maintenance job on several type of

engine from different aircraft:-

– J85

– CT58 or T58

– T56

– PC7



• Helping the technician

– participating in assemble and disassemble

afterburner of the jet engine – Calibrate the opened and closed of the jet engine

exhaust

– Locking wire – lock the bolt and nut to prevent it

from opened if there is any vibration which can

make it loose by itself.

– Packing and unpacking engine

– Sharing opinion with the technician based on their

experience

- Touring around the hanger- Learnt more about jargon used in industry e.g

buttock line, water line

- Attended class conducted by supervisor

- Help technician in removing fuel shutoff valve

inside fuel tank
