Definition
• 3D or Three Dimension materials are substances that have shape and resemble real substance.
• Numerous types of materials can be found in this group.

• Realia is the actual materials and it can be divided into several categories as follows:
Sustainable
Realia
Specimens
Natural Realia
Natural Realia
• This is the real stuff of life, and still alive like earthworms, grasshoppers
• Or rigid materials (non-living) such as machinery, equipment and others.
• Sustainable Realia
• Living materials that have been preserved and stored in a chemical fluid. Example, fish and insects.
• Specimens
• a sample or example of living creatures.
• For example, leaves can be used as a specimen to show the general properties of a group of plants.
Model• Model is built appearance of the original material or substance
that may be made of a hard material such as clay, plasticine and rubber.

• Scale Models
• Scale model is model material made according to the scale of certain expansion or downsizing.
• Every made to resemble the original objects. For example, trains and planes.
• Mock Model
• Burlesque model is a modified model of the actual appearance of things, to show movement or course work in the original article.
• Example: model train engines and balance.
• Cross Section Model
• Large model showing the cross section at a specific section on a thing, to show the shape of the object.

• a three-dimensional full-size or miniature model, sometimes enclosed in a glass showcase for a museum.
Miniature
• A miniature is a small-scale reproduction, or a small variation.

Aquarium and Terrarium
• Aquarium is the place for aquaculture while also Terrarium is little place for the conservation of life on land.
• Aquarium can be prepared by using glass containers or plastic container. Tropical fish can be kept in the aquarium

• Terrarium• Terrarium can be used to keep small animals
such as lizards, small turtles, frogs and small reptile harmless.
• Tiny lidded boxes can be used as a terrarium.
Puppet or doll
• Puppets can be used as an effective teaching tool, especially for language education or moral education.

• Masks can be made from paper or by using papier mach.
• Mask is suitable for role-play situations • Or acting in English or Moral Education.
Advantages of using 3D material
• Acquire properly constructed concept because students can see the real thing.
• Learning will become more meaningful because the students can learn from authentic materials.
• Students are able to understand the nature, structure and movement of the item
• Provide experience about the real situation of a substance or thing.
• Encourage pupils to make further studies on an event or product.
• Provide more opportunities for students to interact with each other.
• Arouse the curiosity that will lead to the concept of learning through research.
